They call themselves a Mexican grill and there are plenty of tacos, burritos, and fajitas, but you’ll find kebabs, big burgers, and even ribs, as well. Customers also love the fresh smoothies like the Happy Hippie, made with mango, papaya, cantaloupe, pineapple, and honey. Came here for some drinks, but since we liked the atmosphere and service, decided to stay for some veggie tacos as well. The cocktails are a-maaazing, and the tacos and guacamole were some of the best we’ve had during our stay in Mexico. Totally recommend, and hope you get service from Santiago. He’s the best 😍

Jose Pausto and all the staff here are amazing. They were quick and knowledgeable to point out and accommodate gluten free meals (lots of their menu is naturally) and made us feel so welcome. The sunset bar is great to visit at happy hour for 2 for 1 drinks (300 pesos). We came here many times during our 8 nights in Tulum.

Amazing service, fantastic food, great prices, and perfect vibe. Went there twice while staying at our beach resort and can’t say enough good things about my experience! Shout out to our waiter and friend Fausto too! Check it out if you’re in the area, you’ll be happy you did.

We were walking up the road looking for somewhere to eat and wandered into Mateos because it looked promising. And it was great indeed! Especially since we are traveling with some celiacs. There was an English speaking waiter who was able to help those members of our group with allergies. All the food was delicious and it came out very quickly! There's also a nice rooftop patio with great views. Definitely recommend

By far the best place to eat, Have eaten there four times, never fails to disappoint. Food is delicious, staff are friendly. Went to their cooking class, was great fun, the freshness of the ingredients were just yum. The chef Miguel was fantastic.. The waiter Salvatore was great,, always with a smile

The best sunset location, 2 4 1 cocktails on the rooftop bar with an incredible sunset view. Jose was amazing in his service. 100% recommend visiting here to watch the sunset and soak up the amazing atmosphere

The food was great, the shrimp & fish tacos tasted so fresh and the corn tortillas were perfection! We also really enjoyed the mango & strawberry fresh waters. Above all our server Jose Antonio was super helpful and attentive! Definitely would recommend

Jose was incredible. We got to have the sunset bar to ourselves, we connected our music and he looked after us better than anyone we’ve ever had in Mexico. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories
