🎂 EXTRA: Celebration Cake
For starters, the Flatbread is a must-order, we probably could have had one each but we wanted to save room for other dishes. Also loved the Octopus on toast, they were such a flavourful bite. For the Mussels and Tuna we had 1.5 servings as suggested by our waiter since there was 5 of us. I loved the mussels dish, it’s seems like such a random combo but the freshness of the cucumbers paired with the zesty vinaigrette dressing, worked well with the crunchy fried bread & aioli. We ended starters on a high and were eagerly awaiting the mains.
For mains we ordered the Baked Vodka Pasta, this was such a generous portion, and it was very saucy and not too spicy (which I liked!) The
Rib-eye steak was cooked to PERFECTION and even better than steaks I’ve had at steak restaurants, and the fries were perfectly crispy.
As we were celebrating my birthday that night, my friends surprised me with a Celebration Cake. If you are celebrating a birthday, book through their website because you have an option to add on the cake, 100% DO IT!! IT’S ONE OF THE BEST CAKES WE’VE EVER HAD!!! The description online says, “our signature Celebration Cake is a decadent chocolate mousse cake with a crisp hazelnut base, milk chocolate glaze and gold leaf.” 😍
