My experience at Mana’o Tattoo was perfect. The booking process was super easy and quick. I was able to secure my spot with a small deposit which was used toward the final price. The price was fair and the shop was clean. I’d recommend making an appointment to guarantee you get the time and artist you’re looking for. When I arrived at 9:30am when they opened, they were already busy. My appointment was with Julio and I can’t recommend him enough. He’s very friendly, talented and listened to exactly what I wanted my tattoo to mean. He came up with an amazing design that is absolutely perfect for me. First, he made sure we got the placement and size right, next he drew the design free hand on my foot and made sure I liked the details. His work is absolutely beautiful!!! Thanks a bunch Julio!!!

This was my first, and most likely will be my only, tattoo. I’ve for years wanted a manta ray in this style but was only going to get it if I visited FP. I was really nervous and considered canceling my appointment many times, and even considered leaving once I was there. Hiko, my artist, was very lovely. Even with a language barrier he put me at ease and was able to understand what I had in mind, and quickly made up the art in a tablet. He then placed it on my skin and we discussed the placement and ended up moving it a bit. It was a much quicker process than I expected and I love the result. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area and want something done on this style.

Raufara is great! Gave me a great leg piece on vacation. He can do awesome realism in addition to his traditional Polynesian. The communication with the shop was excellent. It began 2 months before my trip. I gave them a deposit to reserve my appointment which was applied to my total afterwards with no hassle. Raufara even snuck my wife in for a quick tattoo after I was done. Can’t say enough good things.

I was here on may 24th and received one of the most amazing tattoos I have ever gotten. My newly acquired wife and I went in for her first tatoo. We wanted to make it special and the told us how symbols in the tattoo could link us together with family, kids, life, courage, travel and even symbols for each other. We set the appointment for the last day of our honeymoon. We had the amazing Julio draw mine out and he had to draw mine out as it was a little more in size. She got hers drawn right on her back. We did put down a deposit when we made the appointment and the price was definitely less then what they do here in California. None the less let the photos speak for themselves. Mine is still healing so ignore the white scabbing.
