Mama Oliech Restaurant

This was a birthday lunch date treat. At first, both of us hadn't realised that the Westlands branch was permanently closed down, so we tried our luck there, then proceeded to Marcus Garvey Rd. Since we came in later, not your usual lunch hour, the atmosphere was a bit relaxed. The waitresses were cordial and courteous as always. The food, which was the reason for the visit, was over the bar. Can't quite remember the dish name as per the menu, but you can never go wrong with this choice. The kids menu wasn't clear to us so we got our LO company some fries and we shared our fishes with her. We all enjoyed our stay as well as our meal. Erokamano Mama Oliech kod Ochieng

The food is tasty. I had the honour to taste Mark Zuckerberg’s favorite dish and indeed it is delicious ! Kenyan cuisine is the best!

Fish lovers den with very good customer service from the entrance to the departure We didn’t wait to have a table, there are big sitting areas Ugali my favorite comes in white and brown I would suggest reserving earlier before arrival Tilapia very big sizes good for sharing also I recommend this place for families I would rate them 11/10 ✅

The food is amazing, the waiters are professional. Nice ambience nice place to just chill and talk. Music is not played here hence ideal for conversations . Alcohol prices are on the high side

First time ever,but honestly I was not impressed. The lady serve us was like not interested, spend all time in the phone,and we have to call several time. Food take forever before arrive on the table, chicken was extremely hard. Atmosphere is what you expect,very nice. Very good news, espresso coffee, very well done, thank you Paul.

Yesterday we had the famous Zurckerbug Fish at Mama Oliach, we go where the In Crowd goes. It was good

Food is fine but you can get the same for much cheaper elsewhere. They seem to be riding their former reputation, and taking advantage of it particularly with foreigners. Be careful about prices…

I loved this spot! Authentic Kenyan food with very kind and caring staff. The customer service was awesome, and they welcomed tourists. If you're not sure what to order, try what I ate. Wet tilapia, greens, and brown ugali! Basically, flash-fired talapia drenched in some yummy vegetable mixture served with a side of spinach and maize-based cooked dough (the best way to describe it). Nothing is spicy, like fire hot, but very flavorful, so even an American can eat here. I did :)
