This hotel has been an institution in the city for many years, and we were all sad to hear that it had closed during the pandemic. Many of us were equally excited to hear that it had reopened! I knew that during my travel back to Manila, I had to give this hotel a shot. Very little had changed, including the lobby, restaurants, and rooms. Ultimately, though, I was glad, because the hotel did a great job of maintaining the brand of luxury that was always so distinct to this hotel. It was an extremely special experience to be back, and I just wanted to thank the hotel and its wonderful staff for making my stay so memorable.||I am not the type to give shout-outs to staff members, but there were several that truly stood out for me. One staff member was AJ, who seemed new, but was incredibly kind, warm, and accommodated my check-in requests so perfectly. She was the perfect person to welcome me to the hotel. Also, right after checking out, I had left my passport in the room, and in this struggle, Erik from the check-in counter and (I believe his name was) Steven, the bellhop, were amazing at helping me get my passport back. But perhaps the person that left the biggest impression on me was Romeo, the chef behind the Chinese station at Circles Cafe. He was so kind that I got noodles twice. Please treat all of these people well and give them raises!||This hotel is perfect, just the way it is. I imagine the hotel will soon decide to undergo some renovations, but I truly hope the hotel is able to maintain its current, unique brand of luxury for many years to come.
