As someone nearing 50 I’ve had a good number of mani / pedis in my lifetime and what I’ve come to value most is pampering and a confident pair of hands and hence I specifically booked an ultimate pedicure $70. The salon is well thought out, receptionist welcoming, I liked the diverse selection of drinks although I booked with the intention of having a snack / light meal during my booking but found out you didn’t have a food licence. When it came to the service I was incredibly disappointed. I’m not too sure if the beautician had extensive experience but the quality of work she performed was no different to a cheap mani / pedi bar charging $20 a pop. My feet were unevenly soaked. The first foot was splashed with water and she proceed to tidy the cuticles but at the end I started pushing them back myself before the varnish was applied at which point she offered to reassess. Feet were scrubbed for barely 20/25 seconds. At the beginning of the appointment I specifically pointed out where I had build up of a little dry skin which she didn’t attempt to scrub at all but only used an effective file at the end after requesting feedback. The ‘cheese grater style’ foot scrubber / pumice she used first time round was absolutely rubbish. Please get rid of it I’m not too sure what it’s meant to achieve but it does nothing for your feet. Worst of all the massage my favourite bit was an extended application of moisturiser and was completed in a couple of 2 minutes. I’m based in Europe and I waited to have my pedicure in the US and specifically your establishment firstly because service and the whole tipping culture is huge in the US and beauticians typically give of their best to secure ‘the bag’ and secondly the write up in Business of Fashion gave the impression I would get an outstanding experience which I was happy to pay for. If you are young and after the hype of some where buzzing, hip and trending, and not overly fussed with the actual service then this is the place for you. But if you are a mature customer after an excellent pedicure, a relaxing environment and highly delivered experience then this isn’t the place for you.

Updating my review because I need to shout out my amazing nail artist. I started coming to Asha about a year ago after I was introduced by some friends, I told myself getting my nails done would be a one time thing but needless to say after getting a gel manicure done by Asha, I was hooked! Since then, I have upgraded to the gold membership and have the pleasure of getting to see Asha at least once a month! Her work speaks for itself and I truly don’t think you could find someone who does it better than her. My appointment feels like a monthly therapy session and I swear an hour and a half isn’t long enough. Not only are you getting the best quality work but you are also getting the kindness, most genuine soul in your nail tech. As much as I want to gatekeep her, the world deserves to know how fantastic she truly is - also good luck getting an appointment anyway!!

All a girl needs is indeed Champagne and Shellac. Fast, efficient, and elegant service. No waiting time, which is definitely a perk. I absolutely love the color and the after care look.

Update: My Maid of Honour booked my bridal party and myself in for some spa treatments together and we had the best experience!! From kind and friendly greetings to delicious drinks, relaxing treatments, we loved our experience!! My shellac pedicure is still perfect and I love the colour suggestion from my esthetician. Thank you! Love the King west location! Very cute decor and the setup is great. We tried the champagne papis and they were delicious. Regular manicures and the Polish lasted over a week with no chips! The service was friendly, patient and lovely!

Absolutely love it here! Kane and Vira always know exactly what I want and are very meticulous with my manicures! I also love the option of being able to have a drink and all of the staff are very welcoming!

Had the pleasure of getting pedicure's with my mom at the Yorkville location, and it was an amazing experience. When you step off the elevator, you are greeted with awesome lounge music that definitely fits the vibe of the decor and aesthetic. The girls there greet you warmly, offer you beverages and get you seated. Your options of drinks can include coffee, water, juices, champagne, mimosa, and so much more. Since the location is on the 3rd floor, the pedicure stations are situated so that you get a beautiful downtown view. The service felt luxurious, the massage was extra long and thorough. We left feeling properly pampered and relaxed, I'd highly recommend checking this place out if you want an elevated service experience.

Such a huge fan of Majesty’s Pleasure! If you’re in Toronto and want to treat yourself to some pampering this is absolutely the place to go. I hadn’t got my nails done since April and decided to treat myself as I just launched my freelance consulting business website last week. As you can see by the photos my nails turned out absolutely fab. I was chatting with the manager Cara about it and she did a surprise and delight discount for me! This place is awesome, but beyond the aesthetics and Prosecco, my favourite thing about it is Asha! I’ve been seeing her for the past year and a half, and she is exceptional. Her attention to detail is immaculate. Every single Pinterest picture I’ve brought to her, she’s recreated it EXACTLY, while adjusting the colours that would best suit my skin tone. If you ever have the chance to explore this spot in the city, definitely book with her!

This particular location of Majesty's Pleasure is located near King/Portland. I've been to their King West location many times ever since they first opened. Prices are a bit more expensive but you pay for the ambiance and experience. The highlight is that you can order cocktails and drinks (sometimes at extra cost) while you get your nails done. They often have promos that come up from time to time when the manis or pedis are cheaper where a drink is also included (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Definitely do take advantage of those! Definitely a place where if you'd like to splurge a little or host a small event you could. Great place for a bachelorette party or girls day out. Great especially if you want to feel pampered. Manicure wise, all the nail technicians I've gotten over the years are great. Not my go to nail place due to cost. Sometimes my gel nails also chip after a week and a half. However, sometimes it's nice to splurge a little if you want to treat yourself.

24 hours later .... Asked for toenail tips be cut short. Cut them when I got home what a joke. Manicure- right thumb polish already peeling off. If you're not a regular customer, you get the new people who don't know how to do nails. Mine was a newconer who didnt speak English and didnt know anything about the neighborhood. Thank you for $200 of absolutely nothing Highly do not recommend this scam Absolute trash

The pedicure was very average. The foot rest was uncomfortable and I felt like I had to hold my feet up the whole time for my esthetician to be able to work on me. She was very nice but when I was done, I looked at my toes and It's a beautiful store so that's pretty disappointing. I was overcharged for a shellac pedicure even though I only did a regular pedicure( and received a confirmation email about it). It wasn't until I asked for the receipt that I noticed the price difference. The receptionist called their manager and the manager offered a store credit for the difference rather than refunding the overcharged amount back to my credit card. I insisted that I would prefer a refund back to my credit card and the whole process took around 15 - 20 mins to complete. So I had to wait around for that. While I think that $65 for a pedicure is not outrageous, I expected better customer service because there are places that charge a lot less that provide better customer service. I don't get why they wouldn't just give me back the refund on my credit card when they messed up.

My favorite salon in all of Toronto!! Let's be honest, this is a pricy nail salon, but I think it's 100% worth it because you're also getting a very luxurious experience. All the nail technicians are so talented and careful when working with your nails. They always strive for perfection and making sure you leave majesty's feeling pampered and special. I highly recommend coming here when they have special promos (example: $45 gel manicure + cocktail/beverage). The bar + salon experience is just so fun and unique, which makes it a really great for special occasions or even just for a fun girls day. I love coming here so much!!! It's hard to go to any other nail salon because it just hits so different here. 100000/10 experience every single time.

My friend and I went in for signature manicures at the King Street location. They have a good "Apres Ski" promo where you get a mani & a drink package. Extremely useful since during this time (COVID) there is no time to dry off inside so having a drink outside while you wait for nails to dry is key! On a nice day it's a good sidewalk patio to do some King Street people watching. However, beware there are no heaters set up so it will get chilly during winter. Emily is the best! Now my nails are fresh and pretty. Would come back here again!

Overall: it was fine. The good: the technicians were lovely and did an excellent job. The place (and the tools) were immaculately clean. And it was lovely to be able to order a drink while getting my nails done. The bad: in a word, the price. With tip (and a latte), my pedicure came to $120. That's more than twice what I pay at my neighbourhood salon. Also, for that price, I'd hope to have a massage chair (IMO, the best part of getting a pedicure) or at least a comfortable chair, but we were seated in wooden Muskoka chairs with no cushions. And again, for the price, we'd hope to have nails driers available, but instead had to wait around for ~30 mins while our nails dried. I don't mind paying extra for a unique experience, but I don't feel like the price reflected what I got. Overall: it's fun for a birthday or special experience, but generally, not worth the price IMO.

A mani/pedi here costs over 150$... and it does not come with any luxury at all. The chairs are uncomfortable and the pedicure chairs are not even massage chairs?? Muskoka chairs? I thought the experience came with a complimentary drink because of the price.... nope. you have to pay for that too. Don't waste your money, go to one of the million other options in Toronto for 45$.. not impressed.

Will never come back here. My friend booked two gel manicures for my birthday. Service was great and was super happy. However, both of our nail polish peeled within 2-5 days. We complained and they told us to come in to re-do with a more senior tech. When I went in the tech was fairly rude as she thought it was just one nail but she had to re-do them all. When I asked her why this happened, she strongly suggested it was because of me and either hormones or weak, brittle nails. I ultimately tipped and said thank you because I felt bad she was so busy. This polish started to peel within a week. Because of our horrible experience the first time, the manager told us to come back on the house. For free nails? Sure why not. Bad idea. Service was great this time but my nails are now chipping within the week. Would complain again but at this point I don't want another polish from them and seems my only recourse is to warn others. No idea what they use here for gel and why it keeps peeling but highly, highly, highly recommend going elsewhere. Not sure how this place stays in business other than by charging up the a$$.

A friend and I booked a massage and a facial for 12 noon. We arrived at 1145. we sat there for 25 minutes and at 1210 I asked when things would start and was told they were prepping the rooms. We were the first appts so thought that was weird. Finally we were taken to the rooms. I use that term loosely - they are curtained off areas at the back of the manicure area. You can hear everything - the boom boom of the music playing in the main area which conflicted with the softer music in the curtained area, people talking and sounds from the treatment room next door. The massage person was clearly a newbie. She didn't introduce herself, she didn't ask me what kind of pressure I wanted and so on. I had booked a 70 minute massage starting at noon - she finished at 140 instead of 1:10. So much for our 130 lunch reservation! At one point I asked her to increase the pressure - she did - for about 10 minutes. Then back to gentle rubbing. I told the receptionist when we were leaving that I did not have the greatest experience. I paid the bill and left. To my surprise I got a phone call an hour later from the spa saying they understood I wanted a refund. That was not correct. I never asked for a refund. I had just provided some comments. The woman I spoke to was very nice and said the therapists are not registered massage therapists and their service is designed to be relaxing to which I responded, how can it be relaxing if there is blaring music and people talking. To their credit, she offered me a free manicure at a later date. I declined since I am not interested in returning there. Bottomline - don't go there for a massage. It is a hokey make shift area and their prices are comparable to a nice spa at one of the high end hotels.

I booked an appointment for my roommate and me with the staycation code and we had a great "treat yourself" kind of experience. The place is beautiful and staff is very friendly ... it's definitely too expensive without the code but I think the discount makes it worth it with the experience and drinks!

I adore all their social media pages, and have been wanting to go for over a year! I booked a classic manicure for my first experience for a galentines outing with my 3 friends. All my friends were quickly met with their manicurists, but mine was running behind. We weren't in a rush anyway so it was fine. To make up for the delay I was given my espresso martini on the house which was lovely. The atmosphere was wonderful and the ladies working there checked in and were enthusiastic, but slightly rushed (it was the end of the day) However just slightly overpriced and overhyped. Would still go again but maybe on a different date/time.

this was literally the best mani pedi ive ever had. i went to the wrong location at first but was able to push my appointment back a few minutes and still get serviced which i was beyond grateful since i was there for travel and not a local. the place was absolutely gorgeous with amazing staff. i loved how no electric tools were used and it showed in the quality of my mani/pedi. i wish we had this place in the states!

I'm not one of those women whose hair looks amazing as is or who can boast "I woke up this way". I'm one of those women who needs to work to even get my normally somewhat frizzy hair to look half decent for special occasions. Sometimes that involves more effort than I'd like to exert, say, on a weekday when I have to get to work by 7am but have a special occasion to go to in the afternoon. So for that reason I bought a Groupon for a hair blowout at Her Majesty's Pleasure. When you walk in, you first notice the expansive bar with an attentive bartender who got me both a glass or water while waiting as well as my glass of sparkling wine when I was finally seated with the stylist. Coffee and tea are also available for those not inclined towards alcoholic beverages. The other side of HMP is where men and women get their manicures and pedicures done. My appointment was stylist George. He is as bubbly as the glass of prosecco that I enjoyed as part of the Groupon deal. As I had washed my hair that morning, I only had an express hair blowout. George did an amazing job of making my flat, frizzy, lifeless hair look shiny, healthy, and bouncy with medium sized curls throughout. HMP has a fun vibe and would be a cool place to go to with a small group of girlfriends prior to prom, a wedding, or other occasion for manis, pedis, makeup, and hair styling. I look forward to coming back for another blowout in a few weeks.

I wanted to really like this place, its got really pretty decor, the staff is nice.... but what the hell, it's super pricy for NO REASON AT ALL. I went there once with my mom for mothers day, they were giving my mom the signature pedicure and did not even remove any of the dead skin, also for $50+ for the nail polish to be regular and not shellac is just beyond ridiculous, like why would any one do that when they can paint their nails themselves at that point. I've gone a different time with a friend - same thing. And then once I had a gift card so I went for an eyebrow wax, 20$ later. . . honestly didn't do anything differently that you can't get for 10$ somewhere else. Its not special basically, the interior does not make up for the service you get.

Making an appointment was so simple the website and check in was even smoother upon arrival. While you wait you can enjoy a cocktail, fresh juice, or a coffee drink at a gorgeous little bar. Honestly, the green juice was everything that morning. The ladies that did our nails were fantastic! So sweet and did an amazing job. I was with a group of a couple other girls and everyone was so accommodating. They're definitely organized. For sure would recommend for a mani, pedi or blowout!

I wanted to like this place! I love fancy and it seemed to be my style, beautiful, bright and classy. I booked an appointment for my niece and I for some bonding time. She arrived 7 minutes late and they said they wouldn't have time to do nail art on her nails... one of the main reasons we went there. She got a regular manicure. She liked it so I was okay with it. I wanted to get the full experience, so I got the nail art package... only to find out we didn't have enough time to do the arts that I wanted! Very disappointing as it was a $68 manicure. (Plus tax and tip totalling $150 for both my niece and I! My nieces manicure chipped within 2 days and mine within 6 days. I did love the art she put into my nails but for $90 I expected it to last at least 2 weeks!!! The options to have champagne is nice if you drink... but I don't so I guess it wasn't that impressive for me. I wouldn't have minded paying so much if the service and quality were there. It's nice for a one time experience. If you have cash to blow!

I love this place. Full warning I wasn't able to stay for my nail appointment so this review is just for the space, drinks, and ambiance. Me and my homegirl came her for cocktails while we waited for the rest of our party to get ready. We were not disappointed I started with the Masala Chai with a shot of Amaretto and my friend got the Prickly Pink we both loved our drinks. The bartenders were very helpful and great company too as they gave us info on some great places we could check out. Totally worth a girls pregame out before heading to the club.

This place is made for picture-perfect girlfriends' gatherings. It doesn't seem like a place to come for regular mani-pedis, it's more of a special treat type of place. I had read some of the negative reviews here and was a bit wary when my friend suggested a get together here. However, we were 5 women celebrating 2 birthdays, so it did seem like we fit in to their target demographic. Overall, we ended up having a great time! Yes, it is pricier than your usual nail salon. Just know you are paying for the ambiance and the type of place you can linger and hang out. (I also hope that the higher price point means that they are paying their employees fairly, as much has been written about the real costs and problems behind the super-cheap nail salons: https://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/10/nyregion/at-nail-salons-in-nyc-manicurists-are-underpaid-and-unprotected.html). We had a reservation we made weeks in advance (for a Saturday afternoon). They are very strict about everything, needing a credit card to hold the reservation, full names of all guests, and you cannot be more than 5 mins. late! Do keep this in mind. I'm not sure how smooth this process was, as it was my friend who did the booking. We were welcomed in, they took our heavy winter coats (and my friend's luggage as she was going to the airport after) and we were invited to peruse their nail polish colours and drinks menus. They have an excellent selection of colours and brands, organized by colour family. I really enjoyed this as it made it really easy to compare similar colours. I had the "mermaid latte" which was not too sweet and was very unique. I actually don't remember what was in it except that it was tasty! They have a wide variety of drinks, both alcoholic/non-alcoholic. They also offer some simple snacks like cookies and macarons. I had the signature mani ($40) done by Jay, who was really sweet. It's just a regular mani, nothing too special. I think the management have read some of the negative reviews about customer service, because a woman (I think she was the manager?) checked in with our group multiple times to make sure everything was okay. She even read the menu out loud for my friend who was in the middle of getting her polish applied. They timed everything pretty well so we finished around the same time and then could sit at the little tables and chat while waiting for our nails to dry (rather than at the nail bar, where it is a long table and hard to have a conversation with anyone other than the person beside you). We hung out there for a long while even after our nails were dry and never felt rushed to leave. I thought it was a bit weird you have to pay for your nail service and drinks separately, but no biggie. Would certainly recommend this place for a fun, girly get together!

The actual service we got was fine, although the technicians should ask customers what shape they want their nails files. I assumed she would keep my narrow coffin shape but made them square and stubby looking. It doesn't look bad at all, fine for a change but maybe ask preference first. It did tick me off that despite booking weeks in advance for a specific time slot for three of us, two of us started and one of us (me) was sitting there waiting. I think that would be understandable if we were walk-ins but not when I book in advance and am sent multiple confirmation emails. The point is to do it together and not staggered.I felt that this made my tech rush when she started too. Also - please add decaf coffee to your menu for people who can't have caffeine! With such a fancy barista setup I would assume there would be the option. Our bride had been told that there was a special bridal selection of colours but that was also something none of the techs had heard of, not sure if it had to do with our location or not, but she was a little disappointed. Overall I think it's quite overpriced for being that disorganized with bookings/timing. Nail driers would have been nice too. Overall wouldn't go back, there are much better nail salons in the city if you are going to pay that price, get an real luxury treatment done.

Majesty's Pleasure is truly an indulgent manicure experience. I've not really been the type to get my nails done, but the whole experience is always so satisfying and makes you feel so special! The cocktails and coffee are all great, the nail techs are so meticulous and ensure you only leave with the best manicure, and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The price is definitely a bit more than most other nail places, but I'd absolutely recommend it as a treat or a fun girls day activity!

Went here 3 days ago for my bachelorette with 8 girls. My manicure already started chipping the next day. For such a high cost, I expected much more for the end result. Yes it's nice and flashy inside but you're not only paying for your time there, you're paying for a service that should last. We were told the polishes me chose lasted 7 days - 100% not. Will not be coming back here for a regular manicure.

My mother and I got two of the pedicure is here and we had a very lovely experience. We checked in and then got a cocktail each and then we're taking to where we had our pedicures done. The pedicures are very nice and it's a really beautiful venue. It's so nicely decorated and the cocktails were really nicely balanced and beautiful as well. I would go back for sure

Had a disappointing experience here recently. Arrived at 11:20 for our 11:30am appointment and let the girls at the reception know we were there. By 11:35am no one took us in so I went back to the desk and they said our appointment was bumped until 12pm and there's nothing they could do, we just had to wait. We weren't offered any complimentary coffee or tea or anything, just apologies. The actual manicure was fine. My nails have lasted great, but my mom also received a gel manicure and it started chipping just two days later.

Had such a nice experience at Her Majesty's Pleasure. After checking out their Instagram page, and walking past the salon many times, I made a reservation for a gel manicure with nail art. She took her time to file and cut my cuticles, gave me a great arm massage and painted the coolest design on my nails. I've received so many compliments! It's been three weeks and my nails have not chipped or peeled. My nails feel strong and I've already book another appointment. Worth the price!!!

3.5 STARS Walking by this place a few weeks ago I really thought it was a bar/lounge! Right beside Wilbur's on King W I thought it made sense. Until I saw nail polish on the back wall. Taking a closer look I realized it was a nail bar (emphasis on bar as there is a full service bar here!) So of course I booked some pedis for me and my friends. This is a chic nail place on King W so expect King W prices. My pedi was $45 which included a mini foot/leg massage. My friend's ultimate manicure was $60 but included a neck/shoulder/back massage and I think she got a moisturizing hand treatment as well. The staff are friendly - there is a long bar and juice bar at the front. Reception is towards the back. They take your coats and you can choose your colours from the wall. It would be better if the shelves were lower as I couldn't see anything on the top shelf. Bonus however - they do use higher end polishes - Lippman and some other brands that I heard were natural options. All beautiful colours. You won't get Essie or OPI like at your local salon here. I have to say the cocktails here are delicious - pricey but delicious. But you only live once so definitely indulge. The pedicure space is lovely - you feel like you are on those cottage decks, relaxing - the chairs are those white summer deck chairs. They keep their tools in what reminds me of those old school toolboxes - wooden, open at the top. It's really quaint actually. I loved my pedicure and after 10 days there still isn't a chip! There are about 5-6 chairs for pedis so definitely book online - the weekends are quite busy. This place also has a station at the back for hair/makeup - about 4-5 chairs. I wouldn't go here regularly as I don't live in the area and while it's good for a treat or special occasion I couldn't afford the upkeep. But I may just come back for the cocktails :)

This is a special occasion or a splurge kind of place! the interior is lovely and I never have to question the cleanliness. Look out for their specials with a drink combo - I think its usually a good deal! Their nail technicians are great are they always look fantastic after with lots of colours to choose from. The drinks arent strong but its great to have the option of having one while you get your nails done. The only qualm is that their website isn't clear what comes with each package especially if you are looking for nail art an you need to book accordingly and cant show up for add-ons. I did notice a chip on my gel nails after 2 weeks as well.

Always a great booking at MP. Went over lunch to get a pedi, did some work while I was being taken care of. My technician Meera, was top notch. Great with my feet, extremely pleasant, professional and appreciated the help with the colours. Would definitely book with her again. Bar staff/Front of house staff are always welcoming.

The space is lovely, with its high ceilings and white marble motif. The hosts and barista were friendly. The latte I had while waiting for our appointment was decent, and the sparkling wine we had during the blow out was good. Those are the highlights. We used a groupon for a blow out with a glass of sparkling wine. They're usable on any day except Saturdays, reservations required. The stylist washed my hair, but wasn't very gentle. I didn't say anything because he was so nice and I would've felt bad, but it was kind of painful. During the blow out, he kept trying to yank through the tangles in my hair. The whole thing was only about 25 minutes from start to finish (even though the site says it's supposed to be 45 minutes) and it felt like an hour. Perhaps they take their time with people not using the groupon? My friend seemed to have a perfectly pleasant time with her stylist, though.

We had an awesome time here! The staff was super friendly the drinks were great and the atmosphere even better. Great place to have a little girls day out, grab one of your girlfriends and head over asap. You won't regret it. Best part is they have natural options if you don't want the chemical nail polishes and even a few that are vegan and animal friendly. I highly recommend it! We were super happy with our pedicures.

Came to have a Blowout done (shampoo, scalp massage and Blowout). No trouble booking online, called to ask questions and all were answered nicely. Used a Groupon to try the place out that came with a nice glass of champagne. I got to choose between 2 choices and sipped before my appointment started. Kenyah was super personal and sweet. She explained the techniques she was using and gave me a great scalp massage. The ambiance of the place was great, decor impeccable and clean 5/5. My hair looked amazing and shiny even after being under heat for 40 minutes. The reason I'm giving them a 2/5 is because after 3 hours my hair fell apart. The curls were basically gone by 6pm when I went to meet friends and the weather was not even hot out. I've never had hair fall out of style so quickly even when I've done it myself. Wouldn't spend the full $45 for sure on hair there. May try other services in the future.

Went to her majesty's pleasure for the first time for I was gifted the Ultimate manicure. For $65 plus tax you would think it was something special and with a drink included. Nope. I liked the concept of having drinks while doing your nails and actually thought it was included due to the crazy prices. $65 for a standard manicure (no gel no shellac) is simply ridiculous. I was suppose to get a 10 mins massage and scalp massage but the girl was too short to reach my head so only did my shoulders and neck. I think it was more like 5 mins. Nice girl, don't get me wrong but when you spend or someone spent $65+ for a manicure, you would expect something special. I guess they have to overcharge for all the nice furniture but the quality of the service is at par to the cheap asian nail salons down the street. My nails came out decent but as I had a lighter colour you can see streaks. The manicurist says once she put the top coat it will even out. Nope. I have streaks. Again, waste of money since I can get a better nail job at a cheaper place. And actually surprised they cut your cuticles and not push them. Save your money and go somewhere else. I can get a great mani and pedi for $60 all in if you pay in cash. Or be a sucker like paying $16 for avocado toast where you are basically wasting money.

*le sigh* HMP, I wanted to love you. You have so much to be loved but you got arrogant and cocky and fell short. I took my mom for a Mother's Day present on Sunday, May 28th. I booked us Gel Manicures. We walked in and the place was hot and busy. We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment and waited 20 minutes before anyone came to see us. When we went back for our manicure, one of our manicurist was still running behind and was not ready. This left for a rushed manicure for the both of us. Although I was generally happy with the manicure once we left, I woke up Tuesday morning to find that the polish on my thumb had already chipped. I blew $125 dollars on two manicure for nothing. I've spent a fraction on a gel manicure at other salons and have gone EASILY three weeks without a single chip. If you are going to charge the prices you are charging, and want to truly be the luxury spa/salon experience you are selling, make sure the product follows suit.

First of all spending $60 on a regular pedicure is straight up insane but regardless, I did it for a friend. The girls doing our feet made zero effort to communicate with us and we had to ask them three times about getting drinks. When my girl didn't put a base coat on my feet I inquired. She told me, in a rude tone, that I was fine (I'm sorry, what?) Needless to say my regular pedicures from my usual spot typically last me 6-8 weeks, this one didn't even last 6 days before it started chipping in huge chunks. Honestly, the place is cute but not even remotely worth the price (or the awful service).

Changing my review to one star from two. As per Sara K.'S response I sent an email to the address over a week ago and have received no response. I know my email went through as I received an auto- reply. The 5 day guarantee was not communicated during the manicure. This establishment wants to make people think it cares by replying to reviews, but if you don't tell your customers about the guarantee until they post a bad review on Yelp (and you don't respond to their emails) then it's as good as not having it. Original review: This place looked great on the website and I had heard good things so I was really excited about having a mani/pedi here. The inside of the salon is lovely. It also has a really positive and upbeat vibe. Unfortunately, the quality of the manicure leaves something to be desired. It started chipping the following day and the technician didn't do a good job at cutting away the dry skin at the sides of the nails so I have edges that are quite visible.y manicures at much cheaper salons have looked better and lasted at least a week before chipping. The pedicure has held up better, so I am happier with it. As a side note, we came early as requested but were not told that we should pick out nail polish. We did wander over there of our own volition while waited but then we're told we had to leave to start our appt time and couldn't look anymore and that we could decide later. The person and my technician literally stood there while I was still trying to decide which one I wanted. It was a really sour way to start the service. If you won't give someone a few minutes to choose their colour at the start of the appointment then tell them to choose it while they're waiting! I'm giving it two stars because of the pleasant demeanor of my technician, the ambience and ability to have tea or wine while doing a service and the fact that my pedicure is more or less decent. However, for the prices that they charge for a manicure I definitely think it should last longer than one day!

If you have a special occasion to celebrate (e.g. Bachelorette Party, Bestie in town, Mother's Day, etc.) than this place is great. With the decor, music, and cocktails it's every millennial's Instagram dream. But keep in mind, that's what you're paying for.... This is not the place to go on a regular basis. It's waaaay overpriced for such a simple service. If you're someone like me that likes to get manicures and pedicures often, go elsewhere because it's just not worth it here.

Atmosphere is definitely a 4 out of 5. It's very relaxing. I am one of those that prefer to call to book and appointment, it's hard to reach the reservation desk. Today I've asked for eyebrows, it wasn't available. I tried to ask if I can buy the Groupon deal and try, again it was not available. So I finally settle for a manicure. I just finish my prosecco as I am typing this, no one asked me if I wanted another drink. I wanted to order another glass of Lola sparkling, but now I decide to go to a restaurant down the street to get my second glass. Anyways it was an okay experience.

Came here with a friend for her birthday. We bought two groupon packages for hair, makeup, and a glass of sparkling wine ($70 each I believe). I absolutely loved everything about this place. The decor is superb, is very clean, and has great service. I loved how they styled my hair and did my makeup... I got numerous compliments from many people. The sparking wine was also a nice touch and made the service that much more enjoyable! Will be returning soon!

I think I finally made the connection that this place is a bar, first and foremost, and secondly a salon/day spa. If drinking is your priority while getting your nails done, then go for it. However, if you want to truly relax without alcohol, you might not feel welcome. Overall, the place is better on Instagram than IRL. I was expecting to give them five stars after the manager invited me back (a couple weeks after I tried calling and emailing them), but the lack of attention to detail remains an issue here (beginning with the initial response from the business, spelling my name incorrectly under my original review under my name). Inconsistent basic hospitality and communication (not offering to hang a heavy winter coat, not offering a menu after checking in, not asking if you're comfortable on the short massage table, not meeting a patron outside a treatment room afterward to ask how they feel), makes it feel more like a beauty school with trainees than a premium brand. I get the sense that staff mean well (they're not rude), but they lack common skills that most other spas/salons DO offer. I am still baffled by this; my expectations are not that high!! Perhaps they expect patrons to drink a lot and overlook the details? I'm giving them one extra star because of Yuliana, who does amazing manicures.

Noticed Her Majesty after going to Wilbur for dinner (they literally share a wall). Their website is still a work in progress as there is hardly any information about this place. Call the concierge and they will be able to answer any question that you may have. Additionally, making appointments will require you to call in as well. It gets quite busy both on the weekends and days leading up to it so call a week in advance. Her Majesty's Pleasure is a chic salon that offers manicures, pedicures, and hair blow drying/shampooing.^ The twist is that you can also enjoy an alcoholic beverage, coffee/tea or sweets. I really like the ambiance here; staff take your coat upon entering and take your order should you want something to eat it drink. The large windows and bright light coming in expose all the happenings on King Street West. With the price point* here, I can go to my usual place to get more services done so I won't be back until there's something special or a reason to splurge. I was late for 5 min and was trying to call and let them know, but no one answer the phone. But the other day when I did my brows I was early and the girl who supposed to do my service was late. When I came in it was a line and after Front desk lady was rude to me because of that. The girl who did my nails did it on time and did a great job, but no one even ask if I want any drinks or water. Place looks great and I wanted to relax and have a good time how it looks on the pictures at their Instagram, but everyone who works there were rude and unpleasant with and attitude and it was not my first time there.

Had a manicure here while my friend had a pedicure. The place looks awesome with very beautiful decor that reminds me of Paris! All white, very chic and lots of cool, funky decor pieces. They have a blow dry bat, nail station, facials ect. One stop shop! They also have a bar where you can order coffee/tea or drinks. Very nice touch! Great spot to visit though I definitely find it to be pricy! Great spot for a birthday or bridal shower.

Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday. This place is breathtakingly beautiful. The white marble countertops and scheme, the big glass windows that let all the sunshine in, the funny and considerate staff & bartenders.. this was all great. We had a wonderful time. Our nails were done nicely and they even spray almond oil spritz at the end. Come here if you want a nice fancy girls day, special occasion, or a treat-yo-self kinda of day! I deducted one star because prices are slightly more expensive and they were very old school by not having fans to dry your nails. We had to stay back 20-30 minutes after to let it air dry. Other than that, I'm glad we came here!

Gord and I were supposed to get pedicures at Her Majesty's Pleasure on Sunday but one of our estheticians was sick so we couldn't get our pedicures together so we changed our appointments to this evening. What's nice about this place is you can order a drink while you get a service. We ordered bubbly. I had my toes done in Fuchsia. Angie and Amanda were our estheticians and did a nice job on our toes. There was a miscommunication in that Gord had scheduled us for a signature pedicure but they had us scheduled for a speedy pedicure. We'll be more precise in the future.

The experience was wonderful! The technician Annie did a wonderful job. I absolutely enjoy my time here and will definitely come back/ recommend my friends to come.

The old staff that use to do blowouts were so talented . The newer staff is just okay , and could probably use a little more training . My head got a little burnt twice because of the hair dryer . My blowout wasn't as pretty as past times but I still liked it and my hair was not frizzy at all !

Came here for a girl's day with my friend and we had a great time! I got a facial and my friend got a full body massage. Friendly staff and delicious drinks. The only reason why I didn't rate it 5 stars is because they never answer their phone and kept getting our reservation wrong. Aside from that, great experience.

Came here last Thursday for a shellac mani and had an experience unlike any other nail salons or boutiques that I've visited thus far. I absolutely adore the atmosphere and the decor of the salon! From marble counter tops, to the cute rose gold telephones where you can "call for champagne", HMP's got their interior design to the T. Had an amazing time sipping on my espresso martini - which by the way was delicious, while getting pampered by the lovely staff at HMP. My nails were shaped and done perfectly (Thanks Clara!). Definitely a place to go for a girl's day!

This place is pure pleasure. Great drinks, lovely staff and amazing services. I came in on a Wednesday night and was able to schedule a service same day online. My first drink was at the bar - Espresso Martini. Amazing cocktail and a lovely bartender. Amanda did my pedicure and she is the best! Even gave me some tips on areas to check out since I'm new to Toronto. The bartender then came over during my service to take my second drink order, and brought it over to me within 2 mins. There are many negative reviews and I just can't figure out why. I will be back every chance I get.
