"At Maison Verot, locals get in line to stock up on all kinds of elaborate goodies. Verot has been making some of Paris'sbest charcuteriesince 1930, and it isstill winning prestigious awards. The funniest fact is that I don’t know what are those things. I just asked a staff there to recommend something to me. She was nice and kind to suggest that I try these two types of pates and they were nice.

My wife and I tried 4 or 5 things here on our recent trip. Everything was delicious. We especially liked the country pate and the pate en croute with figs. Also, thank you to the staff who patiently cut and wrapped all of our small portions with the same care given to all other customers.

Good food but terrible service , they changed what were ordered, cut out the entree without informing. When I asked why they didn’t bring the entree, they just ignore the request.

This place is my achilles heel. I don't know why I act so surprised that my wallet is empty after each time I visit this shop. Everything is so good - the terrine, foie gras, pate en croute... just take my money svp!!!
