Sold me an old anti puncture tire for new, have it less than a year and it’s 10 times more worn than my 4year old other tire. Also too expensive for the service they provide and always leave the handles incredibly greasy.

ONLY REVIEWING PHONE SERVICE After explaining an extremely simple fork swap job, with all correct parts supplied for a BMX (perhaps the simplest bikes in existence) - many shops either didn't understand english, wouldn't fix a bmx, Evans cycles said they dont service bikes not purchased from them? And others were downright incompetant on the phone.... Call Machine - explain the same thing, the same way, he takes a second to think about the request, "yes shouldn't be a problem" and lets me know how to book in (can just leave bicycle with them). So listening 10/10, serving 10/10 and lets hope the work is the same. Thank you for being the only decent shop out of the 5 I called in your area.

I came here with a flat tyre, on the way to work and in a stress. They were super helpful and turned it round in no time! Great service, reasonable and good advice.

Nice shop with great staff, however, i did buy a Ridgeback bike from them which has had nothing but problems from the start. The gears are sketchy, constantly gets self inflicted punctures due to the bad wheels and generally is out of action more than it is in action. And i only do short trips of about 1 mile on it once a week. Not their fault reaĺly, perhaps more the brand, but for £500 quid i would have expected more than 1 years usage. Obviously not happy with it, but i use my wifes bike now with no issues. Maybe dont sell or condone that product as it clouds your reputation.

Very bad service I left my bike there one of the guys went on holidays and there was no communications with the other person and they hold my bike for more than a week and charge me more than the original quoted

This place is so good. After another bike shop gave me a dodgy repair I took it in here, they found the issue immediately AND showed me that my back wheel spokes were really loose and needed tightening. Really quick, helpful service and a job done right.
