"For the local experience In up-and-coming Cais do Sodré, once the red-light district and now filling up with hip bars and clubs, this is ideally located for those who want to be amidst Lisbon’s buzzing atmosphere. The 18th-century powder-blue building has five themed floors highlighting different aspects of the capital: guitars cover the walls on the fado floor, books line the shelves on the floor named after the poet Fernando Pessoa, and so on. The 61 rooms are functional but fun, with iPod docks, clothes rails (no cupboards), and showers (but no baths). The hotel’s restaurant Confraria, a branch of the famous restaurant in nearby Cascais, serves up a superb selection of sushi and sashimi, temaki and nigiri; the house assortment of 30 bite-size dishes is culinary gold. Address: LX Boutique Hotel, Rua do Alecrim, 12, Lisbon, Portugal Price: Doubles from $82" - Abigail Malbon

We escaped from a bad airb&b experience to this hotel, thank goodness they had a room. It was like chalk and cheese. This place is wonderful. Beautiful room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable. Mini pastel del nata and port offered in the lobby on the Saturday. How lovely, welcoming and delicious. Great, friendly, efficient staff. Couldn’t fault it and didn’t want to leave!

Perfect location, nice big, clean rooms. The shower didn't drain properly, but that's a small issue. they put out little snacks (pasteis) at the front desk. tip: a USB port beside your bed, or at least a wall socket higher from the ground.

The hotel itself is quite pretty and staff are friendly and somewhat accommodating. | The rooms are very tiny, with glass bathroom walls which provide no privacy when one is "using" the toilet. The location is relatively close to some shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, it is above Pink Street, lined with bars providing music and crowds singing until they close at 4 a.m.! If you plan on getting any sleep at all, you would be wise to choose another spot.

Great location, close to town, Alfami, Belem, trains buses and metro all on your door step. Say they're a 4* hotel and Id have to agree. Rooms were great, staff were great. |A little noisy at night and in the early hours but its central Lisbon, what else would you expect.

We got a room with no luminosity + night club starting at 11PM that didn't help in resting well. Also, I bought sealed chips that were in a Burger King bag, the service took it to throw it away. I just realized once I arrived back home so I couldn't do anything to warn them. I do not think it is a great service for a 4 stars hotel not to watch out before throwing wrong dishes. Hope they will be more careful though the reception was okay.

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights and only wished we stayed longer! Yes it does get noisy throughout the night but they provide earplugs in your room. Personally it doesn’t bother me cos I prefer to sleep with some noise but of course this is a big deal to others. Super clean, cozy vibes. Close to most of the attractions in Lisbon. So much bars and restaurants nearby. I honestly love the place. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast option was limited for me but enough to power thru the day. I’m asian so im used to rice and noodles for breakfast.. Other than that everything else was close to perfect.

I very rarely leave reviews on anything to be honest, but it would be a true shame not to praise the staff at the LX Boutique hotel!||My partner fell ill on the last night of our stay. The friendly staff at reception understood our situation and treated us with compassion and warmth. With their willingness to help, and some out of the box thinking, they found a good solution for our situation and didn't even charge us for it. My only regret is that I cannot recall the name of the staff member that helped me (LX Boutique hotel people - if you're reading this and would like me to help you find who it was - please do reach out. He deserves recognition!).||The hotel itself is a gem, clean and tidy, and the location is unbeatable. Looking forward to another visit!!

We stayed there for 2 nights, location is pretty good, only steps away from the Time Out Market and Pink Street, close to tram and train stations. The room was quite small with ok cleanliness. One complaint is the noise, we can hear loud noise and music both nights until like 4-5am in the morning, unsure where the noise was coming from but likely from Pink Street, my husband is a light sleeper so it was tough for him. Will not stay there again.
