Nestled in Soho, Lure Fishbar boasts a luxurious yacht-like ambiance and a lively bar scene, serving top-notch seafood and sushi that attract a stylish crowd.
"This semi-subterranean restaurant in the northwest corner of Soho is decorated like the hold of a ship. On weekend afternoons and early evenings, it attracts families and students with their parents, but come midevening, the place fills up with a glittering crowd, who relish the seafood focus, unusual sushi, shellfish towers, and Chinese dumplings, via chef Preston Clark." - Robert Sietsema, Melissa McCart
"A subterranean room designed to look like a really nice boat, Lure is one of the best people-watching restaurants in New York City. The Soho spot will serve a special set menu for $98 per person. Get turkey, filet mignon, or go wild with spinach-stuffed branzino with chestnut brown butter and grilled lemon." - neha talreja, molly fitzpatrick
"The singer visited Soho hotspot Lure for sushi, a spokesperson confirms. The restaurant staff snuck her in a back door with friend and stylist Ashley Avignone; they sat in a private side room. The restaurant run by Preston Clark is known for its oysters, shellfish towers, and seafood, as well as its newer items like dim sum." - Melissa McCart
"With its raw bar and sushi, Lure Fishbar in Soho is, ostensibly, a seafood spot. But you’ll see the Bash Burger on almost every table, because it’s the best thing on the menu. The sesame bun is soft and a little crispy around the edges, and the beef patty is thick and juicy. A few razor-thin pickle slices help balance each bite, but what really sets this burger apart is the salty-sweet jam with bacon bits and onions. This restaurant can be a zoo, so plan a lunch or late dinner here." - will hartman, bryan kim, neha talreja, willa moore, kenny yang
"Lure Fishbar charges $38 for their lobster roll, which isn’t so different from the other places on this list. But when you factor in that you’ll probably also order at least one $20 cocktail at this subterranean, yacht-themed, Soho restaurant, things can add up. The roll is good though, and if you’ve been dying to check out a scene that ranges from pop stars on arena tours to retirees who’ve developed a taste for Balenciaga, pop in and enjoy a mound of lobster, lightly dressed with mayo and chives, on a toasted brioche bun soaked in butter.
