As someone who is half Italian and has eaten a lot of pizza in Italy, I don’t say this lightly: this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. You can always judge a pizza place by its Marinara. It’s the most honest pizza…just tomato sauce, garlic, olive oil, oregano. No cheese to hide behind. If the Marinara is great, you know the dough and the sauce are truly excellent. And this Marinara? Incredible. The tomato sauce is rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The dough is airy, light, and full of flavor …the kind that makes you wonder how something so simple can taste this good. My personal favorites: the Marinara, the Courgette & Burrata (fresh and creamy), the Spicy Amatriciana (perfect heat), and the Spicy Alla Vodka (just wow). 100% recommendation. I lived in Lisbon for one and a half years and went there at least every two weeks…it was simply too good not to. I truly miss it.

I’d heard about this spot and really wanted to check it out before leaving Lisbon. When I stopped by, it was completely packed, so I took that as a good sign. I checked their Instagram and saw I could order on Uber Eats, so I placed a pepperoni pizza order timed for when I got back to my hotel. It arrived pretty quickly, and wow. The pizza was amazing. The sauce-to-cheese ratio was perfect, the jalapeño slices were such a good addition, and the texture was exactly how a pizza should be. Crispy but still soft in the right places. Sorry I didn’t get a before photo, I was too excited and dove right in. As you can see from what’s left, it was absolutely demolished. I hate to admit this, but yes… that was just me. Definitely recommend checking them out. And next time I’m in Lisbon, I’m sitting down and eating it fresh in person.

Amazing pizzeria in Cais do Sodré. I ordered a vegetarian pizza with a touch of lemon zest & it completely blew my mind. That subtle citrus note lifted the whole pizza & added so much freshness & depth without overpowering the flavors. You rarely see lemon used like this in pizza, but it worked perfectly. Great dough, high quality ingredients & a very authentic Italian vibe. Easily one of the best pizza spots in Lisbon, highly recommended.

Expensive for what it is. Lupita is an excessively small pizzeria (one room with maybe 8 to 10 tables) which makes it noisy, crowded and clunky. People are too grouped together because of the small size of the room and it creates an unpleaseant ambience due to the noise and people being so close to you, there's literally no privacy. It's difficult to get a table and they accept no reservations, which means you have to sit outside untill a table becomes available. I waited around 25 minutes (New Year's Eve). Unfortunately the wait isn't fully rewarded by the food. Expensive and bad tasting Garlic Bread, overstuffed with seasoning to the point where you all you can taste is the parsley and the garlic and not the bread. And an average pepperoni pizza with an undercooked crust (restaurant was having a very busy day so that's probably why) that didn't impress. In the end, Lupita suffices for a pizza dinner but just doesn't offer the food quality and the overall experience to justify the hefty prices. 3 stars.

The place is small. It has 8-10 small tables, but it is really nice. Recommend arriving early. It has a queue list that runs fast as the food arrives fast. Pizzas were amazing. Great ingredients and atmosphere The girl on the entrance was really really sweet, she deserves a raise

We came as a group of three and ordered two pizzas. The wait was about 25 minutes. The seating is very cramped, with strong food smells and a lot of noise from other guests. The pizza itself was fine, nothing special. Prices are above average, but fair for the city center.

One of the best Neapolitan style pizzas I have had outside of Napoli (where we have been a lot). The pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven on full display in a buzzy atmospheric room. They have a lovely light and fluffy crust and delicious toppings. You can taste that the ingredients are top quality. Toppings range from the traditional Margherita or Marina to some more unusual (but not too whacky) ones such as Courgette and Burrata. There is a nice use of a local cheese (viso) on some too. No bookings - you have to wait in a line after adding your name to the wait list. We went at 1.30 on a Friday afternoon and had to wait around 15 minutes to get in. Really worth queuing for though IMO (and I hate queues as a rule :-]. Finally the service was fantastic - all the staff actually looked like they were enjoying what they were doing and were really friendly.

Really delicious pizzas and good service. We went at 7pm on a weeknight and got a table of 3 without waiting. We ordered the spicy diavola (we didn’t love the toppings on this, felt more of a Mexican vibe with the chimichurri and jalapeños, but maybe others would like this), and the vegan walnut and mushroom with mozzarella added - this was amazing and recommend to all meat and non meat eaters alike! Bases were fantastic.
