Lucky Boy Drive-In at Walnut

This place was absolutely delicious. I saved my leftover nachos. They still tasted great the next day. The restaurant seemed to have lots of history in itself and was a nice spot to sit down and munch for lunch. Zucchini fries were also delectable.

I know this place is really famous for their breakfast burritos, and I guess that is all they are known for because the burger, hot dog and fries are terrible. I do not know if they are trying to be healthy conscious, which makes no sense since they are a fast food place, but the fries and burger patty were not seasoned even a little bit. I rarely eat this type of fast food, and when I do I usually feel good while eating it then feel terrible later. But while eating here I felt terrible before, during and after. Hot dog was also bad. The staff are very friendly though and the place is decently clean.

Breakfast burrito-could feed 3 people easily. Insanely huge. There had to be about 15 slices of bacon inside. Salsa is red, spice level mild.

Cashier very professional kind & you will get your money worth. Food delicious dinner was inside with family. We went to look at Christmas lights afterwards ☺️🎄✨️ Special night

Awesome breakfast burritos. Employees at this location have a little bit of an attitude compared to the original location. Food still great though.

This place is Awesome! But it needs an atmosphere check. I walked in and it was so quiet even with people inside. It was a bit dirty too. This place is from 1961! Let's Bump some music, clean up the place and have an old school vibe. The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. With a cool vibe this place could blow up even more.

I’ve been here a few times already and it’s always been great. I ordered their basic Bacon Lettuce and tomato sandwich. It was delicious with lots of crispy bacon slices. Probably one of the best “BLT’s” I’ve had that splurges on the bacon. The lettuce was fresh, crisp, the tomato was just ripe and right. I highly recommend it. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items like their pastrami. Just be aware there are two Lucky Boy’s in Pasadena. This has very limited parking. Update Their chorizo burrito is phenomenal, solid chorizo pieces and flavor. Just be aware it’s big enough for two people, shareable for sure.

Wow! So this is what I've been missing? Let me tell you folks, and btw, this was a Breakfast stop. See, we pass this place every single day Mon -Friday to take our Grandson to a special needs private school by the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. We , My Son, his Fiancee, my Lady, and I stopped in on our way back to my soo to be Daughter -in-Laws house. We all had a Breakfast Burrito, some of us had the Potato, sausage, and egg and cheese, while the others had the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burritos. Let me tell you all that I'm a pretty good eater, and I saved a 1/4 of my burrito cause I was full. It's SO good r They pack it with potatoes and cheese with bacon. Every single bite has bacon in it guaranteed. So if to grade this place I would give it an 8 out of 10, for their customer service lagged a bit. No friendly smiles, or a thank you, and no conversation with customers? So, brings me to the moral of this story is to go back to these places from back when, if they're still in business, and see what their secret u Is, and tell the staff at Lucky Boy Burgers!
