LOTTE City Hotel Myeongdong

The first hotel of our stay in Korea – a perfect choice. Well located, beautiful building, you’re greeted by the bowing statue and we felt comfortable right away. From here, you can get everywhere easily. The porter and the staff at the 7/11 were especially friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and nice, and even had a pretty cool view. Thank you very much :) We miss Seoul already :( </3

Nice city hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can easily reach it from ICN Airport via the 6015 limousine bus. Breakfast was good, though not significantly better than other hotels I’ve stayed at in Korea. The room was a bit dated but clean; however, I’m not a fan of the carpet—it felt a bit unpleasant. The shower pressure was excellent. The hotel is very close to a lively university bar area in Jongno, which is great for exploring local street food culture and experiencing an authentic local vibe.

We stayed in Lotte City Myeongdong from 22 December 2025 until 2 January 2026. This was our second time in this hotel and it was every bit as good as the first. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly and the concierge staff always greet you with a smile and will assist you in any way possible. The room was kept pristine by the cleaning staff and the hotel is very centrally located to most of the main attractions (and shopping of course). It is a short stroll to the beautiful stream which had a light festival for Christmas - one of the many ways to enjoy Seoul at this time of year. Thank you Lotte City Myeongdong for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again when back in Seoul.

Quiet end of Myeongdong. The 6015 airport bus drops you off right across the street. Rooms are on the smaller size . Front desk and doorman are very professional and accommodating. There is coin laundry and a gym and a small convenience store on the lower level. 15 min walk to the shops and tourist areas . The buffet has a good mix of American continental and Korean .

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Myeongdong shopping district and the subway station, making it extremely convenient to get around. The front desk staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and communication in English was smooth.The room was generally clean, comfortable, well-equipped. However, during my stay the bathtub sink drainage was slow and somewhat clogged. I reported this to the front desk, and they arranged for maintenance staff to come and fix it, resolving the issue the same day. Their service efficiency is commendable.

Good hotel very good location a 7-Eleven and Angelinus cafe within the building precinct. Bathroom and shower are excellent staff are efficient if not overly friendly. Sometimes a little slow to make up room and waiting time for the lifts can be unusually long for a hotel of this style, but these are very minor concerns when put in overall context of the pleasantness of the stay.

We stayed here for our first three nights in Seoul. Very clean and lovely staff. Facilities are great too. The laundry and dryer area is very useful and the gym is sufficient too. The attached 7/11 is very convenient too! Located well and only fault I can think is the rooms were a little smaller than we hoped. Would recommend for a 4 star stay for a few nights!
