LOTTE City Hotel Myeongdong

Good location for nearby retail and other options. The staff are very welcoming and helpful to their guests. We would especially like to thank Daniel for his help in the reception are re how to get tickets etc. Didn’t sample the food, although there is a basic 7/11 on site, and a nice coffee shop, also a Starbucks with limited opening hours. Excellent WiFi, and good room with shower. The carpets and some of the furnishings could do with an upgrade as they look a little tatty considering the high price. But would stay here again, thank you.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Overall we had a positive experience and would stay here again. Staff was always kind, responsive, and helpful. The location of this hotel is really great as it's close to the subway station, attractions, food, and shopping. The breakfast buffet was quite good. There's a variety of dishes to choose from and the food seemed to get replenished frequently. The room we got was decently clean. There is some wear and tear and the shower curtain smelled a little mildewy, but we felt the room was tidy and comfortable. The bed is a bit firm, but not too bad. We didn't experience any noise issues, but that may be because we got a room at the end of the hallway. Laundry facilities were great. The machines were clean and there were vending machines with detergent and dryer sheets.

A truly fantastic experience. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the Myeongdong market and the hotel is very close to the bus stop and subway station making it very easy to get around. The room was very clean and the view of the city was really great. They have a 24 hour 7 eleven on the first floor which has an awesome selection of late night snacks and drinks. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay with my family for 4 days. We booked two rooms. Location was perfect, close to key attractions and sightseeing spots. Hotel is modern, very comfortable and easy good value. Rooms are renovated. Only aspect to highlight is that are relatively small. A special thank to the concierge that kindly helped booking taxi for 5 during peak hours. Recommended.

Location of the hotel is very convenient, with easy access to the train station, making it ideal for travelers. However, the room was quite dark and very hot, which made it uncomfortable at times. It was also a bit small for a room intended for three people, leaving us with limited space. Overall, the stay was okay, but improvements could be made in terms of room comfort and space.

I stayed with my boyfriend for a week here, and while this is not a five star hotel, the service from everyone was top notch, including the front desk staff, the elevator man, and even the cashiers in the convenience store. Contrast that with the disdainful attitude of the GS store cashiers across the street. ||With this hotel, you are paying for its excellent central location. The room and amenities are in line with Lotte City Hotels (more budget friendly), and everything was adequately comfortable especially the bed. ||This was my first experience with Lotte Hotels and I will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful experience in Seoul!

It was fine. Probably wouldn’t choose it again but it did the job for a warm place to sleep on our first trip to Korea. The room was a bit dingy and very dusty. The carpet wasn’t cleaned well at all and the bathroom had quite a lot of hair everywhere. Bed was also fairly hard but not as bad as some Asian hotels. Staff was friendly but we did have the cleaning auntie chasing us every morning when we stepped out to get coffee or leave the room. We didn’t try the restaurant or breakfast. Location is convenient - 15 min walk to center of Myeongdong. 5-10min walk to a vibrant nightlife area with lots of bars and restaurants and a decent coffee shop off the lobby. It can take a very long time to get a lift as there are a lot of big groups staying.

Very enjoyable stay at the Lotte City Myeongdong. It’s clean, with very courteous and helpful staff. Excellent internet, good shower, reasonable selection of TV channels and a good location for nearby shops, transportation to and from Incheon airport via limousine bus across the road. Coffee shop, 7/11 and a Starbucks on site. The room furnishings need an upgrade as the carpets and wood surfaces are a bit scratched and tatty. But a good stay, and would use it again.
