It’s one of just five municipal galleries in the city and, ever since it was converted from an auto-repair shop in 1980, still bears the hallmarks of its industrial past: the high ceilings and large steel doors lend it a character that many of the city’s art spaces lack."

This art exhibition / café is lively and friendly. The gallery hosts a rotating selection of modern photography and sculpture and entrance is free. The café is the real jewel for me - it's spacious with big tables but quiet. People come here to read, study or work, there's outlets and Wifi available as well, which makes it ideal for digital nomads. The guys running the place are very friendly and welcoming.

This is a great place of art. Just have a look above in front of Lothringer 13... Sponsored by the city of Munich this place makes you think about our freaky times. Exhibitions are mostly for free and near to the entrnace there is something like Cafe with WiFi and so on.
