"LockCha offers traditional tea service and vegetarian dim sum ina stunning colonial-era building with elegant furnishings, carved wooden panels, and framed calligraphy on the walls. When it first opened in 1991, it was a simple tea shop, but over the years, it evolved intoa haven for tea lovers and connoisseurs, and an important player in the revival of the traditional Cantonese teahouse. From the start, LockCha’s discerning founder, Mr.Wing-chi Ip, did things differently from other shops, buying his tea directly from farmers and focusing on unblended, pure, single-harvest tea. This attracted attention and loyal customers. Today, LockCha not only sells more than 100 different teas but also designs and sells tea wares—teapots, cups, canisters, and so on. There are also concerts every Saturday night, and tea and calligraphy classes on weekdays."

"When you’ve had too much pork, turn to this sweet, traditional Chinese tea house, which serves vegetarian dim sum. Beyond dumplings, they offer more than 100 varieties of tea (which are also for sale in the shop)."
This is an absolute must for anyone visiting Hong Kong! We went from the aviator to this tea, has to have lunch with tea and dim sum, and it was absolutely worth it. The dim sum was warm, comforting, and the taste were absolutely fantastic. I especially loved the baozi and the zongzi. I might have the names of those dishes, a little bit incorrect, but I can tell you they were delicious nonetheless! And the tea was light and refresh it. I will be returning here on my next visit to Hong Kong.

Perfect for a healthy brunch or afternoon tea. The tea selection is wide ranging from lower caffeine gentler on stomach 黄茶yellow to rich 普洱 puers & many in between. The food is great for sharing with a wide variety of flavors and textures even given that it’s all vegetarian! The tea ware and wide selection of tea on sale on site is 10% off for paying customers. Located inside Hong Kong park means you can take a relaxing walk before or after. Recommended. 👍🏽

The truffle siu mai was amazing, service can be a bit slow because they were busy during lunch rush. Aesthetic interior design. Great place to just sit and enjoy some dim sum. Menu is clearly labeled if dishes have eggs or dairy. Will definitely come back.

Nestled in Hong Kong park, I love this place.
So Zen, and I don't need to worry about what to choose. all plantbased. Besides egg noodle and some dumplings, all gluten free. Make sure don't mix with soy sauce if you want to keep it completely gluten free.
What I like here is that the taste isn't overpowered by salt and pepper. The broth and sauce all naturally extracted from vegetable.
Minimum charge is one big tea pot per person. Oblong tea highly recommended.
I think the bean curd dishes and truffle shumai are great. Rolled rice isnt recommended unless you want to fill you up.
Zen, taste, all great.

Vegan-friendly tea house in a beautiful location. So glad we found this. We visited twice on our short break to Hong Kong. So delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. One evening, there were some musicians playing music too. Beautiful!

VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is!
217 HKD for what I ordered is excessive.
Charge 10% service, I couldn't find this in the menu.
There's no clear signage on where the restaurant is. It's inside a building labelled as a 'gallery' since there's a tea museum, but after walking through the door, the restaurant is directly in front of you.

Thoroughly enjoyed a piece of serenity in such a busy city! The moment you walk in, you can feel your shoulders drop and your brows relax. There’s a cute charm to this place, and a great place to have quiet conversation.
So much tea to choose from — heads-up, everyone needs their own. And dim sum options were great for it being vegetarian.
The staff were super patient & respectful, and made us feel comfortable. Definitely not like your typical HK vibe where people are rude and rushing you.
Highly recommend the steamed ginger pudding. So chewy and not too sweet.
Hot tip - push down hard on the handle of the kettle in order for the water to bottle. It’s not obvious and you really don’t want to drink cold tea.

A lunch date with my fd in Lockcha, I have to there for several times for take away the cold brew tea and not have a chance to enjoy the dim sum here (Tried the one in Tai Kun though).
Foods are all with very reasonable price and good in portion. The minimum spending for dine in is one cup of tea and it offers over hundred choices.
CP value: 8/10
Dining experience: I am fortunate that the bookings was not full and providing us a good vibe for chatting and dining.
