I used to enjoy Local 1 because of the great service from the sommelier Moisés, who was always attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my last visit was very disappointing. The staff member Victoria was rude, dismissive, and seemed more interested in being on her phone than attending us. She couldn’t explain the menu, served the wine carelessly, and her overall attitude made the experience unpleasant. The quality of service has dropped significantly compared to our previous visits.

A solid place to grab natural wines in an industrial wine bar in the heart of the Roma neighborhood. Arriving at the bar on a slower-than-usual Thursday night, it took a bit of time to actually get acknowledged and seated (anywhere, really). We were given a QR code for the menu (enough with the QR menu codes!) and browsed through the variety of natural wines. We received a brief explanation from the bartender about the different wines. I settled on an orange wine from Australia, which was delicious and fresh. The overall vibe of the bar was a bit underwhelming. Apart from the sparse crowd, the music was just alright and could have been better. Despite that, we had a great time. Prices were a tad higher for the location and the quality of the wine selection. It could be worth it, but be prepared to spend at least $250-300 pesos for a glass of wine, albeit natural.

Amazing selection of natural wines, some being from Mexico. The staff is full of knowledge and great conversation. Shout out to Alex for walking us through the wine selection and her well informed choices. One of the best experiences we have had in Mexico City so far. We were going to stop in for a glass and ended up staying for a few hours. Definitely put this on your list of places to visit!!

I’ve been to a couple of natural wine bars in CDMX and this is my favourite. The waiter is very attentive and the wines are great. They have a selection of Mexican and Europeans wines by the glass. Some natural, some more traditional. Really fun to try some experimental Mexican wines. We’ve been here a couple of times during the last two months.

Cool spot to grab a drink or two with indoor/outdoor seating. Small, but good selection.

As a lover of natural wine, it was amazing to find a place dedicated to it. Great friendly service, with the ability to try the wine before buying a glass, we had a great time. Also had the charcuterie board which was generous and delicious.

I went there to try Mexican natural wines, maybe the best option in cdmx. People are super nice and available. In general I think they should promote more Mexican wines, maybe with a better price

We enjoyed our local orange wine and strong mezcal here. Cute atmosphere.
