Littlegreenbay Hotel

Stayed here in August. Location is amazing. It’s a beautiful, semi-private cove with a little beach you can have a great time on. Everything else was a bit of a mess. To highlight only a few things: Our bathroom had black mold on the waterfall head and along the bath. It was apparent immediately when we walked in, photos attached. While everything else seemed clean, we had to use the handheld nozzle to shower the 2 nights we were there. The second night we were there, we came back from town to the air conditioning not working. There was one employee that I was able to find as they were trying to contact the owner. I read earlier reviews from a year before our stay that reported they also had their AC not work during their time there, so this must be an ongoing issue. The one employee eventually left after not being able to contact the owner and we were left with the AC out all night. It being middle of the summer, the room was very uncomfortable. Our window was broken so we could not open it. We tried calling the Hotel’s phone with no answer. Around midnight, I went out to find somebody to help, only to discover there were no employees on premise. There is no way to contact the hotel or any employee at night. The front office was left open and dark, with the hotel phone on the desk. When I called the hotel number, I could see it ringing. I walked around the whole property looking for somebody to help, but there wasn’t an employee anywhere on premise. I knocked on every door and repeatedly called the number with no luck. The view from the room was amazing, but the room wasn’t as private as we had hoped. As our Cosy Sea View room was at ground level next to the front office, we unfortunately had to keep our blinds closed so the regular flow of people walking by our room could not see in. The beach was crowded, as part of the beach is open to public, and it was difficult getting a spot in the sun. There were a few families there with kids running around. While I don’t blame the hotel for this, it didn’t make for the couples getaway we had expected. The staff were very friendly while they were there during the day. They even kindly allowed us to checkout an hour late. We can appreciate the unique ambition of this hotel but were otherwise disappointed in our stay, particularly given the cost.

Honeymooned around Croatia and we were lucky enough to spend our time on Hvar at this hotel. Stunning view, amazing food, friendly staff! Highly recommend!

I am giving this place 4 stars but only because of its location and beauty. The property is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Outside of a couple of servers (only name I remember is Ana) the service was very poor. The people are not nice whatsoever, and the restaurant hours are very unusual. There is not much to do around the area except beach, and if you miss the restaurant hours you will have to wait a long time to eat again. We were woken up first night at 9:30 am by loud banging and three construction workers in our hallway. When asked about this the concierge women told me there’s nothing she can do about this and to deal with it. I am not sure if it is the Croatian people in general that are rude or just some of the staff here. Additionally the air conditioning in one of our rooms was not working properly and they told us there is nothing they can do because they didn’t expect it to be so hot outside… last year was a record breaking summer heat for Europe I would assume they would upgrade the A/C units after something like that. Truly truly a beautiful unforgettable place with I’m sorry to say rude people….

First, the location is amazing, the hotel is unique, the team is the best on hvar and the owner is so supportive! We had our wedding renewal at little green bay. This was the best location to do so. The team was always available for us and our guests. The location is amazing for beeing private only with your frinds and Family and the whole food and drinks where realy good. We thamk the complete team for making our weekend so unforgatable.

A fantastic, romantic, cosy, bubbly retreat. A private bay, away from it all, with the clearest water and wonderful service. No pool, but enough to do (kayak, swimming, sup) in the bay. So beautiful that we had 3 days of rest at the hotel, looking at the view from all angles and during all times of the day. We (parents, big daughter) loved it and will most certainly return. The food is so good, the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Good advice on where to go, they arrange guides and restaurants and everything. We stayed for a week and could easily have stayed longer.

This hotel and its bay is a little slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and so beautiful. The decor is modest and tasteful and the food is excellent. The staff were fantastically helpful and very friendly. |We adored every part of our stay. |Also the beds are SO comfy!

Just steps outside your room, the crystal clear ocean is what you expect from a movie scene. The staff is absolutely amazing, Dorian made our stay perfect. The restaurant onsite was incredible, get the sea bass! Coming from LA, this is the ultimate getaway.

Such a wonderful and peaceful hotel! Situated about 10-15 mins aware from Hvar city center, making the surroundings very serene. The staff were incredible - super friendly, and they helped coordinate a boat day for us. The food at the restaurant is very good, we ate there multiple times and loved it! Wonderful beach access and facilities. Highly recommend staying here!
