Litro has what I would describe as unusual wine, not bad wine, but it definitely wasn't your typical enoteca wine. For that I have to give it good points, my friend really loved their Moscato, I was less thrilled, but admit it was unlike the overly sweet wines I was used to. A negative for their service is that the staff always recommended the most expensive wine in each category for us to try (this may have been happenstance, but we got three different wines all at their top price point via suggestion). In addition to wine they also have food. I really enjoyed our lunches. I had an octopus and vegetable mix while my friend had the salmon burger. For the food alone I will go back next time I have a meeting in the area. I am willing to give the wine another chance.

Our favourite place in Rome! Fantastic natural wine list, amazing and friendly staff, and a beautiful patio :)

Wine is amazing! I had the Litro wine and it was the best red wine I’ve had. The soup was not warm, but it was good and fresh.

Google
Great and friendly service even for tourists like us who don’t speak Italian. Awesome, changing selection of natural wines with helpful servers who will help you find something you like. Lovely outdoor patio. We did not eat but stayed for 3 glasses of wine in the afternoon.

Location is great. The outdoor seating has heaters which is awesome for the fall. The service was a tad slow--but that did not interfere with having a positive experience there. I'd go back to another event hosted there.

Google
Great local spot for true wine lovers. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and offer wines from all over Italy including natural wines. The food is also excellent. You should reserve in advance (they only accept reservations if you are eating) since it’s very popular.

Google
Very cute wine bar with a great food and wine menu. Tucked in a quieter part of Rome, away from the tourists yet waking distance from the center. Such a fun place-recommended.

Do not go here. Worst wine my boyfriend and I have ever tasted. We had 3 different glasses all together, which were recommended by the waiter. After our first drink we thought it may have just been bad luck but we were wrong. Also extremely overpriced and poor service!Wish I could give it 0 stars.

Yelp
Litro came on the hipster foodie scene a few years ago as one of the cool places on the block, serving bio foods and natural wines. The place is cute, the food is very good, not actually in Trastevere proper It's high up on the Gianicolo near the American University in Rome, but it's fairly easy to get to on public transportation Outdoor seating available but it's kind of closed in and will be pretty smoke-filled

Yelp
Everything about this place screams coolness. Located in the off-tourist area of the Villa Scirarra - the restaurant is off street and offers a bit of a break from the standard restaurants and wine bars of the more central areas of Rome. They have a chalk board with rotating wine pours, a generous assortment of wine by the bottle and a number of other drinks. They also have some simple cold food to compliment the libations. It's an awesome place and the staff make you feel welcome the moment you step in the door. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Litro is listed with some of the best wine bars in the city. Both NY Times and Fodor's recommended this wine bar. Located in the Monteverde neighborhood, you are away from tourists, crowds, and city noise and chaos. The bar and restaurant has a fun vibe featuring natural and biodynamic wines with an emphasis on small Italian producers and Mezcal cocktails. The opening hours are not the same as listed on websites. Luckily, I spoke to the chef a few hours prior to opening who informed me the restaurant was opening at 6:30. The enoteca has both indoor and outdoor seating. The bruschetta piennolo was fabulous with fresh, fully-maturated tomatoes and fresh basil. The salmon was received that day and was prepared to perfection and was simply delicious. The tiramisu was made-to-order with freshly pulled espresso. One waiter was busy with all of the guests. I was I incorrectly charged for bread which I never received. I, unfortunately, did not catch the error on the bill. I feel the prices where very fair for the quality and freshness of the food which was perfectly prepared. I wish there had been more Italian wine varietal options by the glass. I would have loved to have learned more about the wines I was served. I would have also loved a nice Italian Franciacorta or Barolo on the menu. I was craving this meal the next day!!! www.vinerialitro.it

Yelp
Found from NY times and per usual did not disappoint. very local spot- sat outside, late dinner/taps situation no reservation. Great cocktails and inventive and delicious small dishes. Perfect for two to share. Quality and fresh and reasonable price. Nice service, really enjoyed.

Yelp
The food isn't remarkable, but decent. You should go for the insane wine list, well crafted cocktails and good vibes. If you're into natural wine, this is a must. Easily the best selection of said wines in Rome.

Yelp
Litro is the best under-the-radar restaurant in Rome, located up the hill from the tourist masses in Trastevere. The encyclopedic wine list, the conjured-from-the-garden dishes--we loved this place! Best food we had in Rome, made from fresh ingredients brought in from the restaurant's garden, like fresh tiny baby strawberries and artichokes, are prepared with affection and care. You can go to the tourist-friendly places and eat blandly prepared Roman staples, or get food that's prepared in the same tradition.

Yelp
Honestly the best place I've been to in Rome. If you're looking for amazing food, wine, and drinks with a laid back, warm atmosphere, you cannot find anything better than Litro! I'm a student here and am so sad I have to leave soon because this place rocks. The staff was a dream, the food was even better, and the decor was impeccable. I cannot wait to go back as soon as possible!

Yelp
Horrible experience! Overpriced, inedible food. The menu was odd and limited. Our server was a huge jerk as well. Just plain awful!
