Wished I had known of this place earlier. Had fitted a few pairs of glasses at other shops over the past few years that turned out not great and not exactly cheap either. Extremely knowledgeable owners that fixed all the issues I had with my previous eyewear. Ended up getting 3 pairs of reading glasses! Have been recommending to family and friends.

Artisan of spectacles!!! Advises on the shape to fit my face. The original pair was oval and was reshaped. Surface was brushed up to show distinct gold and black shades. Highly recommended experience for personalised spectacle! Brought an older pair for reshape as it was too long for my face!

I have totally forgotten about them until recently read a CNA article. My last visit was probably 35 to 40 years ago, when I was still a Primary/ Secondary school gal. Recently, my pair of titanium frame progressive glass suddenly broke and my usual optical shop can't do anything about it. Japan manufacturer also not have the required spare parts, they offered me special price to replace the entire frame for $500 instead of $650. Sound a bit crazy, paid $2k+ for the it and now to add on $500. Out! Just trying my luck to see if Lim Kay Khee Optical can rescue it, as I wore only for about a year, more incline to mending it. To my surprise, they managed to find a compatible parts! And agree my pair of glasses is unique and worth repairing. And and and it cost me less than $100. So much lower than the budget I set for repair. Thank you Mr. Lim. Mr Lim skill in helping me to make adjustment to the original nose pad and also fitting with the new parts was superb. This is the best fitting I've experience, its even more comfortable than the original fitting. Thank you I'm definitely going to make my next pair with them!

Master Artisan! Altered my existing spectacles frame into a more squarish look as the original made my face look long. Custom shape another inner lens to reshape the tortise shell followed by reshaping the metal frame. Had a pair of spare tortoise shell rim to show the contrast. Masterfully done! Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience. After accidentally breaking the legs of my glasses, I was worried about having to buy a whole new pair. However, the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. He quickly found a new frame that perfectly fit my existing lenses. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Been having my glasses done at this eye shop for close to 3 decades already (I am in my mid 40s). My dad brought me here to have my first glasses done here like 35 odd years ago, and almost all my glasses are done here.. my past experiences at other eye shops (even like branded ones) have always pale in comparison to here. affordable pricing, good range of quality products as well as good service.. recommend to all who need glasses. Miss the lady boss who is always around to give advise what glasses to get since I was a kid back then...

Saw a video of theirs on Instagram and found it endearing, they replied to me and assured me that I can finally find glasses that fit my head. Have travelled all over Singapore and JB but always failed to find a proper fit, but the couple here came through with a great pair of glasses that are vintage yet stylish! I liked that the elder lady took her time with the eye test and explained each step calmly. Everyone here was incredibly patient with me, going through each selection of glasses to find a pair I like even when we went through quite a few! After selecting my pair, they even offered to have the lenses changed to a bigger ones than the glasses were originally framed to fit, to make the glasses look better on me. I really love my new glasses and I hope others can also find their next pair here, there are plenty of vintage pairs to choose from but as the pair are an elder couple, please practice some patience with them.
