This lively burger joint serves up tasty combos and generous fries, complete with housemade shakes and a fun atmosphere perfect for groups.
"The namesake Lil Woody with its diced pickles is affordable and satisfying, but the Fig and Pig burger is an outlier in a burger world ruled by savory selections. Pickled figs lend sweetness and chewiness, crumbled blue cheese delivers just the right amount of melty funkiness, and bacon contributes a salty crunch. Look for locations in Ballard, Capitol Hill, Green Lake, and White Center, as well as T-Mobile Park for game-day burgers — always made with grass-fed beef." - Jay Friedman
"If you had to choose between your significant other and a grass-fed burger with a basket of queso fries from Lil’ Woody’s, let’s just say you would need to blast some really, really sad music and start packing your things. Lil’ Woody’s is perfect for a lunch meetup or to refuel before a Friday night out (only to return at 2am for second dinner). The menu has a solid lineup of classics, plus more creative choices in case you want housemade pickled figs on your burger." - Aimee Rizzo

"Top 5 veggie burgers for vegetarians who don't like salads, and top 5 regular burgers for meat eaters who also don’t like salads. We have a complicated relationship with salad." - Hum Creative
"Sure, we love spending an hour at Li’l Woody’s doing burgers and beers with our friends. But the Capitol Hill location also has a particularly great breakfast sandwich: two fried eggs, bacon, tomato, cheddar, and rooster (sriracha) mayo, all on a potato bun. Add some avocado and queso fries and you’ll be in business. The egg sandwich-eating business. Which we’re not sure is a real business, but it should be." - aimee rizzo
