Nestled in a cozy library-like nook, this downtown gem serves up artisanal cocktails and delightful gastropub fare that's perfect for winding down.
"We love books and we love drinks, which makes the Library Bar the perfect place to, well, just the perfect place. Dim lighting makes it a little too dark to read, but just enough for relaxed conversation. We love the hand-lettered menu, which changes often. Our favorite part is that this place is small and cozy, and the drinks are well-made. The nights here finish off in a great ending, much like our favorite novels." - TypeEd
"Library Bar has been a downtown drinking staple for a while now, but it’s after-work scene is the best time to go. The kitschy library theme is definitely present, but not in a way that makes you sad to be there. They have a strong beer and cocktail list ($5 margaritas), and an above-average bar food menu if you want to eat a grilled cheese and feel good about it." - brant cox
"If you work Downtown, this is a good option when you want to vent about your boss after work, because the cocktails are strong and the beer and wine selection will keep anyone in the office happy. The Deal: $6 beers and wine, $8 cocktails When: Weekdays 3 - 7pm" - brett keating
"Delicious literary-themed libations (think 'Tequila Mockingbird') are served alongside a tasty gastropub menu (try the decandent three cheese fries) in this aptly-named bar. The theme doesn't end there, either, as the library area is outfitted with leather-bound books and a fireplace. They do a great happy hour here when it tends to get crowded."
