Libertario Coffee Roasters - Calle 70a

A true gem of the coffee world. Tucked away in a side street in a cute area in Bogota has the best coffee experience. The atmosphere is cute with a nautical themed indoors and a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the street. The pastries are amazing. The granola is a huge highlight in the parfait, granola bowl, or açaí and the cinnamon morning bun was perfectly chewy and bursting with flavor. The coffee is exactly how coffee should be. Lightly roasted and full of all the tasting nodes. It was so great that we went back the next day. A must go while in Bogota!

Great place for a rainy day ! The coffee is amazing. We even purchased some to take back home. The guy at the cashier was the kindest. Great sandwiches. Love the design and vibe. 100% recommended

Lovely cafe and good coffee! It was so close to my hotel I popped in a couple of times. I like their outside seating area and the lady working there was super lovely both times!

The single origin coffee here is so gooood. Only Columbian coffee here but you’ll know why when you try them!

The entrance and outdoor seating of this cafe is a dream: lots of plants, garlands of light, a beautiful brick building, and art. What more can you want for a cafe? I could spend hours here drinking coffee, reading a book or hanging out with friends. I have yet to try the food, but they seem to have a good variety. The indoor area was also surprisingly bright and seemed like a nice place to study or work, as there is wifi and lots of seating overall. Since it’s a coffee roaster, it’s also possible to buy different coffees. Overall, a cool vibe and place I will definitely go back to!

I had come to this cafe in a previous visit so I came once again. The vibe, especially the outside seating area, is quite nice. Lamentably, my food and drink experience were less than nice this time. I realize that tastes are subjective, but I’ve gone to over a dozen large and small cafes in Bogota and the espresso is almost always dialed in and well balanced; this shot in Libertario was far too acidic. To add insult to injury, the only small sweet pastry left was a chocolate chip cookie that looked a little off to begin with, and then I find out it was gluten free (not labeled) and genuinely was the worst cookie I’ve ever put in my mouth. I left it there after one bite. When I mentioned it to the server, as feedback; his response was “we all have different tastes”. This visit ended up literally and figuratively leaving a bad taste in my mouth, so I left and went to The Coffee Corner nearby and had a much better food and service experience.

Beautiful cafe with a great menu with sandwiches and dessert. 2 blended coffee for espresso, Paz(lighter) and Libre(Stronger) and 3 specialty coffee: Geisha, Honey, and Natural. Indoor and outdoor spaces. If you walk inside all the way to the end, take a right and opens up to even bigger indoor space. Lots of friendly people and dogs here. Staffs speak fluent English. Very friendly and helpful. You pay at the register.
