I’ll never be able to say enough good things about Letters. Land and his team run a dream bookshop. The selection, the personal recommendations, the events, and of course the location are all incredible. This place has the spark that so many bookstores strive to achieve but so rarely do. We’re all so lucky to have a bookstore like this in Durham.

Neat bookstore in downtown Durham selling both new and used books. Most of the books are in the ground floor, but they do have a second floor for some more books and games. The pricing for the used book is fair, not extremely expensive or cheap, but selections can be limited in several categories. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!.

Such a great bookstore with a huge selection. I love that they offer new and used books, as well as discounts on new fiction. It was all well organized and labeled with some cool tables with interesting topics as well. Love the upstairs area too. So cool!

The style of this place was amazing. It was quite frankly one of the prettiest and esthetic bookstores I have been in. They had really cool copies of tons of vintage books that were just gorgeous and only 9$. I did find their fiction section to be a little lacking, but I might have just not looked long enough. The upstairs was really cool and the ceiling and doors up there gave old timey glamour vibes. Overall a cool store.

Artwork was delightfully executed to enhance the artist and provide a high quality calm vibe for a bookstore. It wasn't boring. The staff made witty jokes and banter too. I am happy for their business and using 2 of their sassy coasters too. Definitely recommend to walk in if nearby.
