Good pastries in general, the plain croissant really nailed the proper texture, buttery taste, and balance between crunchy and soft as well. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the pain au chocolat, I had the highest expectations (for the price I am paying here) only to get the filling with huge chunks of very hard chocolate, not the proper chocolate sticks, needless to say the dough for this one was stale and soggy.
I would not mind this in another place but if this bakery takes pride in their pastry and charges high prices, I expect high quality as well.
Other samples we tried were decent. Overall, I would try more things to give it another chance, but found this to be overrated.
