Le French Tart Deli

Very cute deli/bakery. The prices and service are good. They carry a nice selection of French products and also have a nice selection of baked goods. I will be back to try some other items.

I had high hopes for this place, but the almond croissant was inedible—soggy, and stale, and had a strange, cardboard-like aftertaste. For $5.75, I expected a fresh, flaky pastry with a rich almond flavor. Unfortunately, it didn’t come close. I barely managed two bites before throwing it out. The service was friendly, but that didn’t make up for the fact that I couldn’t even eat what I came for. Definitely not going back—what a waste.

really good pastries and savory options! i got a croissant with tomato and cheese and it was sooo good. the store even has a great smell when you walk in. one of the staff when i went there this time was a little rude since i didn’t know how to pronounce the croissant i got. but usually they are very nice!

Super cute French bakery with the best bacon, egg, and cheese croissants you've ever had.

Disappointing croissant, misleading sign that says best croissant in the city... It was so dry and dense, if a French is behind this business, they are not real.

Empty pastry, no filling (see photos). Was excited to try this based on their “best croissants” claim, but pretty let down. My apple pastry had no filling, was just a shell of a pastry. Took a couple attempts for them to get my order correct but I wouldn’t leave a bad review for that. The bad review is really for the empty disappointing pastry.

The staff is very friendly, this is a authentic boulangerie (French bakery). I found a lot of my childhood favorite snacks. The pastry are so fresh and delicious. If you're looking for a French experience this is the place.

Very cute and unpretentious bakery, which I appreciate so much. Their caneles are divine and my favorite in New York so far. Crunchy on the outside and mochi like on the inside, absolute heaven. I think about them often and need them every weekend. This location is much better than the Henry St location.
