Wonderful dinner for my family and me. The wellington beef is my favourite, delicious! Very fancy and elegant atmosphere. Winter clothes will be taken into a closet before we dine in which is very considerate. The price was worth the service and food. The waiter has a welcoming smile, he cooked the shrimp and it was amazing. He is very cheerful and even recommended us his favourite dessert. Everything was excellent except for the red wine, it was a little bit dry but it is affordable so it’s okay. We are very happy and enjoyed the meal. Delightful experience 💗

Done from Montevideo, Uruguay, took a reservation for having a Christmas dinner three months before through their website. It run smoothly. They “charge” a small amount to the credit card so as to complete reservation same way car rentals, that they will only charge it if you don’t assist. Dinner was outstanding, excellent service. We enjoy having Christmas dinner at Le Continental. I recommend it. It’s not cheap but as something be told me once when I was young, a good dinner in a good restaurant will cost 100 per head everywhere in the world. Cheers 🥂

We were so impressed with our experience at Le Continental that we returned the very next night! On our first visit, we had the special Flambé duck, which was an absolute delight. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the tableside preparation added a unique touch to the evening. We couldn’t resist coming back the next night to try the Flambé steak, but the duck remained the standout dish—it was truly exceptional. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, and the sweets were the perfect ending to both meals. The service was top-notch, with the staff making us feel welcome and ensuring everything was flawless. Le Continental has certainly earned a special place in our hearts, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Quebec City! And when we travel again to Quebec City we know where to go from now.

Remi is an awesome waiter. He answered all our questions and did a tremendous job cooking table side. We had our own room upstairs that was well appointed with some nice architecture. The food was delicious. The after dinner show of making coffee was quite the surprise!

Had my dinner on December 30th here. Great restaurant on the sophisticated side. Ordered salmon fillet and it was amazing. Enjoyed the food. The staff for friendly but somewhat cold or distant. I felt rushed to finish my food and leave. Didn’t have an appetizer or dessert and paid just about $80.

He was absolutely fantastic—charming, present, and attentive throughout the evening, enhancing our dining experience in every way. A delightful surprise of the evening was having our meal prepared tableside, transforming our dinner into a captivating performance with Jean Yves expertly leading the way. His skill and showmanship made the evening all the more special. We left not just satisfied with the food, but thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Highly recommend!

The filet mignon was excellent! Shocked that you can cook that good while on the table! Friendly staff! Appetizers and Deserts are very good too! Had Saint-Honore and Buche. For drinks, we had Cosmo and Kir Royale! Tasty! Highly recommended for tourists and locals! Book in advance as it’s almost sold out daily! Appetizers and drinks are priced very well.

It's our 3rd time in this restaurant. Service exceeds expectations. We love the food and always book dinner every time we take a trip to Quebec City. Alberto is super friendly , funny, and very attentive. Thank you, Alberto, for the awesome evening. Hubby and I both had the caeser salad to share, peppercorn crusted steak and a boozy Brazilian coffee. Exceptional service from the whole team from start to finish !
