"A view over the Tagus River through a glass cube Le Chat has an awesome view, it's just perfect to finish the day or to have a long lunch. You can enjoy the view over the 25th April Bridge and the Tagus River to the other shore and maybe you will see a cruise ship leaving Lisbon and heading towards the ocean. This glass cube of a joint—near the National Museum of Ancient Art—offers seats inside and outside on a terrace. Even in winter the terrace is appealing, with heat lamps and blankets provided. Rather than ordering a full meal, share some appetizers like sweet potato chips, sautéed shrimp, and a traditional Portuguese dish, Peixinhos da Horta (batter-fried green beans), while enjoying the fresh air and expansive views."

The location is really good, and the view of the docks and the bridge is cool. There is also a very convenient parking space. However, the drinks and service was just about average, we didn't try the food. The music was terrible. The most disappointing part was that we were basically told we needed to pay and leave at about 00:45, because they close at 1am. I think this could have been handled better, I mean, it is summer in the city, there are polite ways this could be handled and there is money to be made.

Great atmosphere with a view of the river. Miguel, the bartender, tailored the cocktails to our specific tastes. Try the Mexican Spicy and the Basil Chick. Both are delicious cocktails. We did not try the food there. It is right next to the Museum of Ancient Art, so a perfect stop after a day at the museum.

Great cocktails and friendly service. The view was absolutely gorgeous and could even see the Christ statue on the other side of the river. We arrived an hour before sunset on a Friday and had no problem getting a prime seat. Service was prompt and very friendly. The downside here was definitely the food. We ordered 3 starters and were left unimpressed. The tuna picapau was not really even edible from our perspective as it was overcooked. Fortunately we weren't there for dinner so we weren't terribly disappointed. We were there for drinks and view and Le Chat definitely delivered on that front!

Nothing too fancy, but it was all done perfectly! Great food and a great view. I would return back here. On top of this, the waitress was the best waitress that I have had for years. Her English wasn’t perfect (my Portuguese is terrible) but she was unencumbered by her capacity to care for us well. Her attentiveness was incredible. Give her a raise and keep her around as she treats customers extremely well. Thanks!

Very nice restaurant, with a beautiful view on the port of lisbon. The food is VERY nice and spot on for the price. A very large choice of different meal and alcohol. Just on the side of the museum arte antiga, so you can plan a stop after the museum. A very nice way to restore a bit.

The restaurant was very nice with a lovely view of the river. We came at sunset (with a reservation) and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We ordered our drinks, a starter, and our entrees right away, and it took over an hour for our food to come. After over an hour of waiting, they brought us some chips and said our food would come soon. It wasn't very crowded and many other parties came and went as we waited. We imagine they just forgot to place our order, and it would have been nice if they had checked in a bit sooner or asked if we wanted to order another round of drinks while we waited. Could have been a better experience for us, but otherwise, it seemed like a nice place.

Located next to Lisbon’s one of the most beautiful museums, Museo Arte Antiga, this restaurant is a winner just because of its location and spectacular view. It is a complete bliss to sit and sip your drink at sunset or have lunch and admire Lisbon’s incredibly strong light which reflects on the Tagus river the sky’s amazing blue color which takes every shade of strong blue. The food is just o.k. But do not expect miracles. The service can be improved. Staff is friendly but maybe the number of staff is not enough.

Arrived 10.15pm on an Monday with 3, just for drinks...got a table appointed. At least 3 waiters walking around + manager. Not that many people present, at least nobody eating anymore. Waiters passed by our table 3 or 4 times. A quick glance but we're ignored. Menucards were already down on table because we made our choice...We waited for 15 minutes...then left..too bad. Place looked cosy and had a great view.

This was the best meal we had in Portugal. Besides the food being great, the drink we had was also wonderful (passion fruit sangria). The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice, they have live music and an outdoor terrace seating with a nice view. The service was fantastic, our waitress was so sweet. This was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Lisbon!

This place is awesome! If you go out the doors of the Ancient Art museum and look left-the glass box restaurant is Le Chat! I had a beer and a helluva view! What a fabulous view! We sat outside and had drinks and a cheese plate- delicious and reasonable. They have an English menu so you won't have to struggle if you speak English- and they're very nice. You can eat outside or inside. There is a ramp leading to the restaurant which you will find if you walk down and to the left as you exit the Ancient Art museum. There is also a lovely little park with a nice view directly behind the restaurant. Cabs are super easy to find on the street the Ancient Art museum is on. We always managed to pick one up very quickly.

I must be invisible? 0 stars for eating but 5 stars if you just want to sit on the terrace for free without ordering and without having somebody come up to you once.

Great location, great food. But one of the worst services I had in ages. We were 3 people for dinner and the waiter refused to join 2 tables - which were free - so we could seat and have dinner. And the reason? "That's not how we work here" (sic.) So we had to wait until 2 adjacent tables were free. And after some minutes, the staff just rearranged several other tables. The WTF moment of the week.

Francisca was the reason we like ....no loved the menu! She took her time to help me pick and choose the menu items I wanted! She is a lovely person and went beyond being helpful. This place is a must try for eating with a wonderful view of the water!

Craft beer in Lisbon ? Check. Outstanding view and nice service ? Oh yeah. A good respite break after a day of museum strolling? You got it - right next door to museum antiga in fact. Cod fritters and shrimp fir apps plus a well made quinoa mushroom entree and for her a jazzed up chicken Caesar . We were headed elsewhere and stopped here - glad we did and you should be too ...

Love this place! Great sandwiches, wine, and even better views. Had the mozzarella, tomato, pesto panini. And the club in two separate visits. Both very good. Reasonably priced.
