"Lavish & Squalor, Downtown by Jacknife. A treasure chest of nostalgic meets today’s lifestyle of home decor, gift, body, hip streetwear, coffee and gifts. Be sure to linger at the coffee bar stocked with old-fashioned confectionary for sale, recreating the feel of a general store."

The store is really nice and well decorated. They have tons of cool items to make your home feel more rustic. There is a coffee bar on the back of the store which serves some great drinks.

Really liked this store. We went to Toronto for a couple's relaxed weekend and ended up taking home a welcome mat (packing it and transporting it back to Montréal by bus was a challenge). You can find something for almost any situation there. The inventory is well curated, the prices won't give you an immediate stroke and the staff is great, not too pushy, not in your face, not ignoring you or trying to peddle everything under the sun. They know their products and are a great help. I plan on going back as soon as I can.

Went in to this wonderful quirky store to buy a gift for our son to take to him when we returned from a trip to Toronto. The young lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. There were so many things that I would have liked to have bought but did not have the room in my suitcase. I Will most certainly visit again on my next trip to Toronto.

I love this place and this my favorite store in Toronto. I bought a little bird yesterday and This place is the real place to buy gift in the city. The sellers are so nice and discret I appreciate it. Very kind and professional people I will come to shop there for Xmass or any occasions. The decoration is a real good job too and their soaps are the best. It’s the equivalent of the Parisian shop named ´Merci Merci ‘ in france. A must go!!!

Hi I am French and I used to visit a lot this store. It's a gem. They have the best candles, the best vintages little things, amazing soap, clothes... It's so much Toronto spirit. I wish I was a millionnaire to help this store to continue to live. It really deserves it, please BLOGTO do something about it <3 A treasure from Toronto that must absolutly not deseapper.

Have to say, not a great customer experience. Went there specifically this afternoon for a product I saw online was stocked there: Jack's Tonique syrup, and was looking forward to the visit as they seemed to have lots of cool products and I could pick up some gifts there. Sounded like the kind of store I could take my friends shopping. Although there was only one other customer in there, a rather garrulous gent bending the staff person's ear, I was completely ignored, so that was fine, I strolled through the entire store checking out what was there, but no luck finding what I'd come for. I finally approached the other staff member who looked so utterly disinterested in helping me, I was taken aback. He made a disheartened attempt to scan the merchandise at the front of the store, no eye contact, shrugged and said they didn't have it. Period. No offer to see if it might be coming in or if he could substitute something else. Nada. The vibe was not chill; it was rude. I will not be going back but I would be surprised if they stayed in business long with that approach to customers.

Great and funky store in Queen W. It has the best jeans I've found anywhere (The Unbranded Brand), some great womenswear, all the beard products any discerning hipster could want and as a bonus has a nice little coffee shop in store.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff. Luxury coffee, espresso drinks and teas! Imagine walking into an apothecary from the past, with everything uniquely inspiring floor to ceiling offered! 10 stars.
