"While Belmond Las Casitas spares nothing in the way of comfort and luxury, it takes great care to ensure that the 20 casitas that dot the side of Colca Canyon don’t distract from the beauty of the surrounding area. Each of the 1,300-square-foot rooms features a fireplace for chilly nights (as well as a hot-water bottle tucked into your bed at turndown), a heated outdoor plunge pool on the terrace (perfect for star-gazing), and a marble bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower. There’s also an excellent restaurant on-site, where guests can enjoy inspired Andean cuisine made with ingredients from the resort’s own garden, as well as a bar serving salads and other light dishes. Activities include fishing for dinner in the hotel trout pond, touring the canyon on horseback, bottle-feeding the baby alpacas, walking the trails that crisscross the 59-acre property, or simply keeping an eye out for the area’s giant hummingbirds and Andean condors that float on the thermals."

Las Casitas Belmond hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. The casitas are extremely comfortable, they all have a hot tub with views of the valley. The hotel also offers several experiences to get the most out of your time in Colca. The staff is amazing, kind, incredibly helpful and super welcoming. If you are looking for a relaxing and over the top experience in Peru I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

From the time my wife and I arrived at Las Casitas, we were made to feel at home. Our casita had a wonderful warm feeling to it, with heated floors, a beautiful fire, and outdoor hot tub. We had excellent breakfasts and dinners there and an outdoor picnic lunch with a chef. All with incredible service. Tilak, the executive assistant manager spoke with us both nights we were there and simply said, “this is your home…”. The rest of the staff were as welcoming - Americo, David, Jefry and Naisha were excellent in what they did.

Our three night stay at las Casitas Belmod hotel in Colca Canyon area was top notch. The location is beautiful almost zen like environment seated with mountains all around. But it is the service and attention to detail that makes this resort stand out. Staff knew our names, were kind, friendly and caring. Plus the additional to their local llama and alpaca made the experience and stay fun!

Whilst subtly providing modern amenities, the casitas are set within spacious gardens with fantastic views of the canyon. The trees gently rustle in the wind with hot tubs galore and a decent swimming pool which my kids adored. Also, very good spa facilities and a great menu at the restaurant. Breakfast top notch.

This was just an amazing and unique experience for us. The location is perfect to enjoy the landscape and scenic views. The facilities are excellent and the rooms are spacious to enjoy a wonderful stay. All the personnel and their attention the detail made our stay a memorable one

This is a wonderfully maintained resort. We spent two days there last week and the staff service, food quality and servers were awesome. They will even light a fire for you in your own casita's fireplace. The room was large and very well appointed. Two stuffed llamas peeked out from under the duvet at night wishing us a good sleep. They were actually hot water bottles and they made us smile. Attention to detail was perfect and the swimming pool was also perfecto!

This was a really special stay for us, and we’re considering coming back to Peru simply to enjoy Las Casitas again! The food was some of the best we’ve had (and we do take our restaurants seriously). The staff were friendly and attentive, including when I wasn’t feeling well, they sent honey and herbal teas to our room. We stayed for 4 nights and for us that was the perfect amount to enjoy the property and the canyon.
