"Alfajores at the Farmer's Market Alfajores are the specialty of Camilia Sweets at the Lake Mary Farmer's Market. Two friendly sisters from Peru are happy to share a delicious bite of culture with samples of all-natural, freshly-baked artisan cookies. The delicate cookies, dusted with powdered sugar, come in flavors like dulche de leche and coconut. Fill a bag or box with a dozen alfajores for later. Find their aqua-and-pink booth at the Lake Mary Farmer's Market in Central Park, at Lake Mary Boulevard and 4th Street. The market is held every Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.(weather permitting)."

On Saturdays and Sundays, many people wake up later and take the day more slowly. So why do most markets have to close so early? Almost all of them close by 1:00 p.m., just when people are starting to get out and about. It would be great if they could stay open until 4:00 p.m. to give more people the chance to visit and support local vendors.”

Gorgeous! Great atmosphere, incredibly nice and friendly vendors. The dude on the guitar just played a K. K. Slider song and we scooped goose, duck and chicken eggs on the fly. I'll be going back to this place regularly, with bells on!!

I went home with two orchids, a floor plant, lumpia, two candles, a vegan cookie, a bracelet, freeze dried skittles and a slice of Jamaican rum cake. We had a blast!

Call me old fashioned but I expected some farmers with fresh produce. It's a market nothing farmers about it.

It’s really small and not much to chose from. I bought an orchid for $15 and it was nice. They are normally $30

We started our adventure today selling our hand crafted woodwork. It was great. Stop by and see us next Saturday. 9 to 1:30

I love the farmers market! Do yourself a favor... wait to have some fresh coffee, then hit the arepa stand for some great breakfast options.... shop for a couple of hours.... when you take a break, make sure to have a Columbian empanada with some Guava Lemonade. Then continue ie to shop. Make sure to pick up some Rosemary dill bread, with some cheeses, and grapes for an evening at home. Btw... don't forget to pick up some produce from local farmers, a few authentic bottles of honey, and end it with some freeze dried candy!!! Oh, I almost forgot the bonsai guy who has the most beautiful arrangements of plants. Have fun!

Yelp
We came here tonight for the Christmas lights. It was very beautiful. They do it every year and the lights are on until 11 pm. In the beginning of December they do a big party in the park with Christmas carolers still walkers, balloon twisters and ice skating. If you're hungry there are several restaurants to choose from the 4th Street grill and the Crazy Greek kitchen restaurant. Every 10 minutes the lights will dance to the music. Lots of free parking and some nice high-end shopping. They also have a beautiful pavilion where you could get married or have a small event. They're actually is a beautiful event hall about 3 minutes away. A must see at Christmas time if you're in the Lake Mary, Florida area.

Yelp
The Central Park Holiday lights in Lake Mary is a must see! I would say that this is the best light show in Lake Mary. Central Park is the same location where the weekend farmers markets are held. There is plenty of parking in and around Central park. There are large open walkways available for strolling with a friend, family member or loved one to enjoy the dancing light show. I drive by this park daily and feel fortunate to see the beautiful light show each evening as I head home from work. This is an annual show that begins November 25th and run's through January 5th. The lights are on from 5:30pm until midnight. The Dancing light show begin at 6:00 pm and ends at 11:30 pm. There are shops located in the general area but many of them close around 5:00pm. However, there are several restaurants open through the evening. We usually stop by the Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or Circle K before heading this way so we have something to drink while we watch the show. If you have never been here before it is definitely worth the visit. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Yelp
Beautiful Saturday hanging out at Farmers Market. Plenty of vendors and food and drinks. We got there after breakfast and there were quiet a few vendors and we just had a great time. Then 4th street bar and grill for some drinks in patio...we had such a nice time. Recommend to anyone.

Yelp
They have more vendors this time. They keep adding more diverse businesses, which makes it busier. Today they had a pumpkin patch, hula hoops, corn hole, connect 4 and Jenna for the kids to play. Morris family farms always has great fresh produce and their storefront is across the street.

Yelp
The Saturday morning Lake Mary's farmers market is another very cool benefit of living in this awesome area. Some of the booths are the same every single week, and some of them change often. The vendors vary. You can find homemade soaps, bath bombs, flavored popcorns, salsa, dips, etc. They also have a produce stand that sets up sometimes, which has a decent variety of fruits, veggies, and meats. If nothing else, it is something nice to do while taking a walk around this well-maintained park area.

Yelp
Great little park, we took family pictures here. It's really nice they have farmers market here too. Not everyday. But it's a nice one. The park has a water spout which looks very nice. Its across from a lot of nice shops.

Yelp
Enjoyed my trip to the farmer's market. The produce sells fast, so come early if you want first pick. There were many booths, despite the heat. I picked up a bag of local coffee beans, which was great, because I prefer to grind my beans at home. I also picked up a fig tree ($20) which has a few figs on it already. After sampling a bunch of dips, I bought one seasoning pack. And I couldn't help but stop by the fresh pasta booth to try a meatball and take home a bag of sundried tomato pasta. Overall, there were about twelve booths offering a variety of jewelry, soaps, children's clothing, specialty foods and plants. It's worth visiting. The vegetables were reasonably priced - a big carton of radishes for $1, a bunch of asparagus for $3.99, sweet potatoes 3 for $1, apples 4 for $3, etc. The dip mixes are sweet and savory. The more you buy, the more you save! One set me back six bucks. The small bags of coffee are $5 and the big bags are $10. It's a bit pricey since a big bag of coffee at the grocery store would be about $6. However, it's supposedly local, so I opted to try it. The pasta is fresh so it will only take 3 min to cook. I will make a meal out of it this week. Ultimately, it's not a market to visit every weekend. There's not enough to see. But if you're in the area, it's worth stopping by! It's situated in a nice area with surrounding shops and restaurants. A great way to spend some time in the early afternoon.

Yelp
The Central Park Farmer's Market is in the grassy area in downtown Lake Mary, near City Hall. It's a fairly small farmer's market but the produce vendor is awesome. If I am in town on a Saturday, I always go. The produce vendor also sells farm fresh eggs, organic butter, bacon, sausage, chicken breast, whole chicken, and various other meat (selection varies each week)--the quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The produce is mostly seasonal, locally grown fruits and veggies and most of it is organic. It's the only place I can get California grapes--all of the grapes at Publix are from Chile. Even though the market is small, I prefer it over some of the more popular Orlando-area farmer's markets because it is not crowded and it is not over-run with cupcakes. There are other vendors with honey, plants, tea, baked goods, nuts, beef jerky, jewelry, pet snacks, etc but that also varies. You can easily get in and out without fighting over parking and once a month there are food trucks. I gave it 4/5 stars because there is not a consistent breakfast food vendor, like bagels or breakfast sandwiches, and there is not a coffee vendor.

Yelp
There is only one produce vender. But they also have raw local honey, and some great cheese as well. There is a great atmosphere there is the only reason I will be going back. Not for someone looking mainly for produce. The peppers where organic but most likely nothing else this week. Update: Now that it's close to spring they have an organic and local vender for produce as well. The Kale and Tomates there are amazing. Broccoli, Cucumbers Strawberries last week, and Starfruit this week.

Yelp
I've lived in Sanford for two years and have drove by this pretty populated market a bunch so today I decided to check it out. Nothing really caught my eye here. They have about 15 or more vendors selling the normal jewelry, jams, plants, ect.

Becky J.

Yelp
So much to offer! Great vendors! Recommended! Lots of food vendors of all types, interesting items, beautiful plants, and a bounty of fresh fruits and veggies

Rod H.

Yelp
I enjoy the Lake Mary Farmers Market. The produce prices are good and they have grass fed beef. I also pick up honey and the occasional cheese. Today they had a classic rock singer and I was able to set across the street, have a drink, enjoy the music and the beautiful day.

Albert P.

Yelp
Small farmer's market with couple of produce stands and one fully organic produce stand. Lots of orchids for sale. Great food stands and pastries too. The city needs to step up and bring more vendors.

Sasha T.

Yelp
The Central Park Farmers Market is near City Hall in Lake Mary. They have a good selection of venders, the weather is always pleasant since most of the area is shaded. The produce is always great, they have some health food venders, and some crafting folk, along with a few dessert options. Upper Crust Desserts is the best option for desserts, while the vegan girls and the smoothie girls do a great job with the healthy food. There is even someone who carves wood who is very skilled.

Brittany B.

Yelp
Maybe I'm a Farmers Market snob since i enjoyed Winter Garden's Farmer's Market for so long, but the Lake Mary farmers market needs to step up it's game. There's only one produce vendor, and the selection is small, the prices are higher than the grocery store, and from what I've seen the quality is hit or miss. I'm hoping that this market will grow to more produce vendors to provide some selection and competition, but until then I'll look for other options for local produce.
