Pub Lajbah

This was the first restaurant we tried in Slovenia. We arrived in Ljubljana, and it started raining immediately as we stepped outside. We tried to find a good local restaurant nearby and ended up here.  And it was a great choice. The location is great, a charming setting by the Ljubljanica River. There is a huge terrace outside and seating inside. If you are a craft beer lover, you can choose from 16 different beers on tap, sourced from local and international microbreweries. The extensive menu also boasts around 130 bottled beers from around the globe. If beer isn't your preference, you can sample Slovenian wine from the Zgonik winery or BrinGin gin from Materija. Additionally, the pub hosts various beer-tasting events and live music performances. We ordered a couple of beers and food from their menu, which sounded like an Asian fusion - Yakitori, Fried potatoes, and Espenadas. It was very delicious and worth every penny. And because it was still raining when we finished the main course, we also ordered dessert. It's also worth every penny. This is the place to visit if you are looking for a nice sport with a local vibe. The only negative thing was the slow service. For two people, we paid 55.20€ for beers, food, and dessert. Craft beer bar with excellent craft beer selection. Many Slovenian craft beers plus other craft beers from other countries. Also ate Provoleta and Empanadas for a snack. Food was delicious. Friendly service. Great place to stop if looking for food and craft beer!

This is a great craft beer bar with a nice outdoor area. They have an excellent selection of beers from Slovenia, Poland, Estonia and other European countries. You can get flights of 4 or 0.3/0.5L pours from their 21 or so beers on tap. They also have a large selection of canned or bottled beers. We tried a sampler platter of their delicious tasting empanadas as well. I was here 5 years ago and the service and selection was as great then as it is now. I highly recommend.

Very nice spot with a chill outdoor patio area. The beer list was awesome. It includes several locally brewed beers. I tried three beers and each one was great. Service was very attentive gave me some good suggestions. I enjoyed relaxing on the patio. The food looked good but I already had dinner plans so I just stuck with beer.

Excellent craft beer bar in Ljubljana. Tasted some really good beers there. Have to mention, that staff was really friendly and helped me out when I asked the weirdest beer they have in tap.. They have this special vibe in there, so it is totally worth visiting!

Good food and a large assortment of small brewery craft beer. Close to the river and away from tourist crowds. I liked the fish and chips. We shall be back!

cozy place just off old town. I appreciated the decent tap list. like many places, it biases towards hoppy beers, at least the local ones. however the helles lager I had was yummy. the empanadas are a lovely treat, the dough is a bit sweet which is different. the only bummer was the profuse smoking on a gorgeous evening on the patio. I'm not asking this specific restaurant to fight against an entire culture of Balkan smoking habits. this said, after my first beer, a nearby table started smoking, and I absolutely couldn't stomach the idea of ordering a second beer and soaking in the lovely evening.
