We had a horrible dinner before coming here, so we were hoping to redeem our evening with some dessert and coffee at La Locanda. Sadly, we were treated poorly because we were not ordering dinner. I worked in hospitality for 15 years, and would never change my level of service, regardless of what was being ordered. We likely would have returned here for a full meal during the remainder of our visit to Chianti, but since the staff was very rude, we will certainly not return. The stars are only for the dessert, as it was very unique and delicious.

I come here regularly – and every time, I’m amazed. The truffle pasta has become a tradition for me, and it’s simply divine. The waiters are exceptionally attentive, friendly, and offer excellent recommendations – the wine choices, like the Bucciarelli Chianti Classico Riserva, have always been spot on. La Locanda di Pietracupa is a truly special place: elegant yet never pretentious. You can feel the dedication of the two female chefs in every dish. It’s a place to enjoy, to relax – right in the heart of Chianti. Absolutely recommended!

I only visited the restaurant. I tried the fritto della locanda. It is impossible to taste anything because of the amount of salt. The plate looks like something from KFC, but is 4x as expensive and worse in taste. Would not recommend.

Such a great restaurant, we had an incredible evening. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly to us and made us feel very welcome. We had the tasting menu which was good and very opulent, their wine menu is also great with many local wines, also natural ones.

We didn't stay at the Inn, but ate at their lovely restaurant. Beautiful location, impeccable service and wonderful food. Would highly recommend the restaurant for a special occasion. Wonderful glassed in patio with outdoor seating when the weather allows.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Tuscany. Fresh ingredients and priced fairly. Every plate coming out of the kitchen at the various tables around us were mouth watering!. Lots of outdoor seating. I'm a fan and would eat here again.

We had an excellent meal here after visiting the local wineries. All of the food was locally sourced and typical of the region. Service was excellent. The view from the front patio was amazing. Peaceful, stunning, everything you come to Tuscany for. Can't wait to go back!
