We had the chance to eat at the beautiful distillerie a couple weeks back. It was truly amazing to discover every single dish, as well as mind opening as to what can be done with basically “only” plants. The only “negative” remark I have is the lack of natural or at least biodynamic wines on their wine list. In my opinion the experience would feel complete if the 100% organic food would be accompanied by natural wines. Hope to see some sort of update to the wine list in the future. Was craving for some natural auvergne jus with the amazing dishes.

I will not spend too many words to relay my personal experience. Poetry is not limited to words, but it can be expressed in many ways. This restaurant is an example. Father & son working together are souls that I will remember forever. One of the best culinary experiences I came across during my entire life. Do not miss this place if around in Luxembourg with menu changing along the different seasons. We started with “Spring” and looking forward to experience the next seasons 🙌 Expensive? Yes, but worth it all!!!!

Magical place! It is epitome of vegetarian food. Mesmerizing presentation. It’s a place which is in north of Luxembourg tucked into a old castle. Reaching the place early and strolling around is highly recommended and will help with experience. Interiors of the place will increase your appetite. Magic starts with the food and drinks start appearing. They have a set menu and let the chef navigate you. My parents loved the food and the concept. Highly recommended

Very unusual place, it is an experience to try. Located in the old castle in the villa of Luxembourg, small but very nice. Food is is something you never tried before and presentation of the food is every time something special! It is a nice place to visit and delicious food to try! With no doubt I can say that it remains one of the best and most memorable Michelin star restaurants I have been.

Simply a phenomenal experience, complete with the personal touch of Chef Rene Mathieu’s table service and explanations. A vegetable experience like no other that leaves you mindblown by how much flavor you can get from plants. Location is stunning and romantic. Service is faultless.

Great experience! Also awesome for vegans! You come in and get overthrown with starters one more delicious then the other. Especially great is how they incorporate plants from the local forest into each plate and then hear the chef explaining how the plants with you body is just great. The rest of the service was also super nice and made us feel there super welcome. Menu could be easily made vegan just ask them ;)

It’s the third time that I am attending my business school’s Gala Dinner at the château and I know the head chef personally. So I am not surprised about the high quality in food and service. Having tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu options, I left with a warm feeling of having been cared for with friendly and smiling service and quality and beautifully looking food compositions.
