La cave des papilles

Known as one of the best natural wine cellars in Paris, the place does not disappoint. The caviste knows his wines, and the selection is dreamy.

I've ordered 12 bottles of wine multiple times for delivery to New York City. The bottles arrived in less than a month, carefully packaged. La Cave des Papilles is my best-kept secret for accessing nice bottles from France!

Great selection and staff are very knowledgeable. Small natural wine producers like Ormiale and JC Garnier. Great stuff but you'd have to know the producers, but the staff are very helpful

Employees are polite and helpful, even in English. However, the store specializes in small and unfamiliar producers, and does not offer tastings, so decision-making is difficult.

Wonderful natural wine selection from French winemakers, a few local and imported beers and spirits, cheese, and canned fish. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Located on a quaint street with delicious coffee, tea, and produce shops. My favorite wine store!

La Cave des Papilles - the only place in Paris I will buy my wines from now on!!! on a trip Paris recently I found myself walking around Montparnasse. as I was in France I thought it would be rude not to buy a bottle of red wine! As i walked in i was welcomed my a smile and a hello (surprising in Paris to be fair!) ... the person working at La Cave des Papilles told me that only sell natural wines! in my stupidity I thought all wines were natural but i didn't realise that most wines are full of chemicals to help with yields of grapes. they were very helpful knowledgable in my purchase of a fantastic Burgundy. every time I'm in Paris, I will make time to go to La Cave des Papilles to buy a bottle! My favorite natural wine store in Paris. The service can be a little cold at first but don't hesitate to break the ice for nice advice and a fantastic choice of discovery. They have rare stuff; reasonable prices for Paris and well worth spending some time digging.
