THE BLOSSOM KYOTO

I stayed at The Blossom Kyoto for my 40th birthday and it was a wonderful stay. ||Stunning interior with a real wow factor to the entrance, ambient lighting and an aesthetically pleasing lobby. Greeted with a tasty complimentary snack and drink.||Rooms were very large, we stayed in a triple room with gorgeous amenities and robes to wear. We loved the TV that had live time of the washing machines! Useful for when you need to do laundry!||We didn’t use the restaurant, but loved the free lollies, soft drinks and snacks located downstairs! ||This was my first experience of an Onsen and it was a great experience! Immaculately clean, relaxing and so so many amenities for a relaxing experience! ||It was a little bit of a splurge for my birthday but was a really lovely stay in Kyoto and near to so many transport options!

The Blossom Hotel was our favorite hotel out of the 2 week trip we had. Everything was amazing. It was a beautiful hotel. The beds were the most comfortable out of any other hotel we stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks also on another level. We are already planning another trip back to Kyoto and can’t wait to stay here again!

I highly recommend this hotel and would return to stay in a heartbeat. Stayed here for 6 nights and everything was of impressive standard - the staff welcome with check in, the room and the included extras of guest lounge with drinks and snacks plus the basement public bathing area (we loved this bath so much we used it 2-3 times every day!) The deluxe twin room was of a good size with beautiful interior fittings. Lovely bathroom with a high pressure shower and bath. The room was quiet and the bedding was super cosy and comfortable. But the star of this hotel is definitely the bathing area. It felt incredibly refreshing and luxurious to soak here after long days of exploring Kyoto. I will remember my stay for a long time.

This was by far my favorite hotel we stayed in on our three week journey in Japan. The room and hotel itself had such a lovely modern yet traditional Japanese feel. It was my first time trying an onsen at this hotel and it was peaceful and had so many options of toiletries in the women’s lounge to enjoy the full experience. I would come back just to stay at this hotel longer!

Walkable to/from Kyoto Station, and also located super close to a bus stop which allowed us to get all around Kyoto easily. The hotel was clean and sleek, the staff were great, and the rooms were perfect for what we needed. The shower was actually one of the best showers I've ever used. The only downside I'll point out is that in the middle of the night it could get quite loud with ambulance sirens, but that is just the reality of being in a city I suppose. Overall, I think this is a great place to stay in Kyoto.

What a wonderful experience we have had at the Blossom Kyoto. The hotel is super nice & clean. The rooms are on the small size, but designed very well, using all the spaces available. They have everything one might need in terms of vanity stuff. Set of socks & cloth also there for the use of their onsen in the basement. They also have the guest lounge where you can sit & enjoy all freebies such as coffee, tea, cold drinks & ice cream. The staff were so helpful & polite. The location was fantastic on the Main Street, so it’s easy to get a taxi & you can walk a couple of streets behind the hotel to reach Kyoto rail station & the Main Street which has all well known high end brands for shopping this street will eventually feeds you to the famous Nishiki market.

Amazing hotel and amazing value! One of the best hotels to come back to and easily accessible from the Karasuma train. I went to Tokyo after to a nice hotel and it doesn’t even compare to this. The size of the rooms in the blossom are great for foreign travelers! Beautiful,modern and many amenities.

Not only is this hotel beautiful, but the staff are some of the best as well. It was one of my most comfortable stays during my time in Japan. The location of this hotel is a little further from the popular spots but it was by no means inconvenient as things were easily accessible by train or bus. The staff were helpful, accommodating and friendly. When I had a lot of questions, I was helped quickly and kindly. I even witnessed the front desk staff being more than gracious to an unruly entitled guest who would not take accountability for their own mistake. I used the delivery service offered by the hotel to send my luggage to my next destination and it was easy and thorough. The staff even called the next hotel to ensure my reservation was there as to make sure my luggage goes to the correct spot. The public bath was clean, relaxing, and much needed after walking 20k steps a day. For those with tattoos, stickers are provided at the front desk free of charge. The hotel does offer coin laundry, and the nice thing is that there is a mode on the TV labeled “congestion” which allows you to see the availability of the laundry machines, how much time is left on the cycle, and if someone is past their pickup time. I didn’t get a chance to use the machines because they were always in use but it was not a big deal. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at The Blossom Kyoto!
