OMG, this cafe truly churns out the best coffee in Sydney!!! I discovered it through google reviews on best coffee near me, I dided when I had my first sip of 3/4 latte - couldn't have enough, I ended up ordering another! The beans are cultivated in the PNG Highlands where one of the partners is from as seen by melanesian art scattered throughoutthe cafe. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Savoury muffins was such a fresh and delicious start to my day! Staff are really lovely, coffee is great and you can buy handmade bilims from PNG and local ceramics (if you’re quick). Will definitely be back when I’m next in Sydvegas :)

Tiny tucked away place with delicious coffee. I had a toasted savoury muffin that was really fresh and tasted amazing. Will definitely plan to go again!

My boyfriend and i love here so much We come almost everyday during the weekdays! Barista is friendly!! Bakery is good !! Coffee is perfect! We have airbnb around here and we did recommended to our guests too :)

Super cheap, good quality coffee. Felt high end so wouldve been happy with double the price they charged. Good quality coffee for $5 was amazing. The barista was lovely as well, had a nice little chat - not too much, not too little. Highly recommend.

Hands down best coffee in Sydney! Such good quality and amazing taste. The barista was so helpful talking about how they roast their coffee. I bought a bag of the cornerstone blend and they ground it for my home espresso machine. Such a cute space and amazing cakes as well - will definitely be coming back :)))

10 seated coffee shop which always full of people. ⚡️Recharge my brain and body with Flat white, Almond cappuccino, Five-grains sourdough Sandwich and Smashed eggs with avocado. Price here is a bit little higher than other cafes, but still be an acceptable rate for the same level of coffee shop. Good quality of food and coffee. Nice staff. Love the seat in front of the shop which we can look out and relax while dine in.

Fantastic energy, great music and delicious coffee. Had a savoury muffin which was a bit unremarkable. But served with butter and honestly the coffee was so good I didn't care :)

Kwila is a small cafe in the backstreets of Surry hills. They are an independent small batch roasting company who source their products in Papua New Guinea. Their perspective ethical is to source from ecologically & socially focused coffee producers.  They have milk based, espresso and batch brew coffee which had a lovely flavour to it. They also sell plenty of pastries, cookies, and food to dine in as well. I enjoyed a savoury muffin. The space has a nice aesthetic with exposed brick walls, and a cool geometric mural on the wall. Service is welcoming and efficient.

The guys here are so nice and really helpful. The great drinks and super cool interior helps as well. If you're in the area stop by. Not expensive and they use great quality foods and ingredients in all their food and drinks.

Ok, so the small cafes keep opening and opening all over Sydney. You know, the cafes with small menus and limited seating. You come here for a coffee and a quick bite. But even though the have limited selection, they generally do everything well. So Kwila is another small cafe. Now, a lot of these small cafes are starting to look the same and are quite forgettable. Yes, sometimes it is too much of a good thing - or one cafe is now starting to be like the other. So it is good to find the cafe that stands alone. Kwila is memorable for all the right reasons. Firstly, the staff here are cool. I think this is the greatest charm of this place. When I walked in, I thought that is wasn't special, but then one of the staff spoke to me. And yes, this place is cool. The coffee here is good - not great, but good. In other words, not the best coffee I've had, but I will come here again. The coffee here is strong and aromatic. And the Barista's know and love what they do. So if you are looking for a small place to go to, where you can get some friendly and laid back service this is the place for you.

These guys are the best! Hidden down a Surry Hills back alley with a cute interior and relaxed vibe (though they can get busy at coffee rush hour around 10am), they are super-friendly, super-ethical, super-delicious. Their savoury muffins are the bomb. Pro tip: take your own mug or keep cup for a 50c discount on your coffee.

Nice strong coffee and awesome staff. After a bad start to my day I was 10c short and the lovely lady let me get my caffeine fix anyway! Life saver. I'll be paying it forward...... No EFTPOS just FYI
