This hotel truly is exceptional. It is intimate and stylish in a beautiful beach setting. All the staff are gracious and friendly, going out of their way to make every guest feel special. They even trawled the swimming pool early in the morning before we were up to retrieve my husband’s lost wedding ring. We were delighted when it was found as we never expected to se it again. ||Rooms are light and airy, with wonderful views across the garden and beach. The bathrooms are huge with every amenity one could possibly need. What could possibly be nicer than to lie in our supremely comfortable bed at night listening to the waves crashing on the shore? The food is excellent, with plenty of choice and always presented with utmost care. ||If are considering staying at Kumu beach do-not hesitate. You will love it.

Amazing service. The place was great, loved the view and the tranquility. Had easy access to the beach. Our host Prabath was very polite and accommodating. It was my spouse’s birthday and they organized a surprise cake and a small gift which was sweet of them. Our room had all facilities but it was somewhat small and didn’t have a proper window with a view. Maybe because it was a standard room. We weren’t very satisfied with the menu choices as it was limited and food were all local and catered to foreigners. Quite pricey too. Nevertheless, the breakfast choices were good and the plating was top-notch.

Fantastic property with spacious rooms, beautiful views, incredible staff and very delicious food. My photos speak for themselves but the staff catered to all our requests and made our staff incredibly enjoyable. My only feedback is that we'd have preferred more shaded areas to have lunch whilst still being able to view the beach and pool area.

We stayed here for one night in October. Kumu Beach is a wonderful boutique hotel. Our room was on the first floor with a generous layout, a great bathroom and a balcony with direct ocean view. The team is highly professionel, efficient and attentive. Dinner and breakfast were both fabulous and one of the best we had during our trip. The area around the street (land side) is very photogenic. During our stay, some renovations were going on, which was a bit disturbing (bad luck for us, one week later all work was finished), but we found a good solution with the manager on duty.

An amazing find. A small hotel in a magnificent setting overlooking one of the best sandy beaches ever. A large infinity pool surrounded by lawns and palm trees. Superb staff all really friendly and helpful and lovely airy rooms. Excellent food with the chef coming out to talk to us about it.

What a special place! The perfect spot to end our honeymoon adventure in Sri Lanka, the people working here are to thank for this! The views of the ocean are breath taking, and is the perfect place to unwind. Thank you again and we hope to be back one day!
