Križanke

Being lovers of history we really enjoyed visiting this place as it was once the home of the Order of Teutonic Knights, these days a theatre, so worth a visit.

Best atmosphere in an old part of Ljubljana. Sound, feelings, vibes, Plečnik's vision always bringing the warmth of memories.

a fine establishment that hosts a variety of events both during the Ljubljana Festival but also otherwise. paid parking is available closeby, and so are a few restaurants. facilities are clean and fairly modern.

Open air Hall and under the roof

The open air theater is really amazing. You could watch a show under the stars or enjoy in the concert. They do have a roof for rainy days so no worries about that. The arhitecture is amazing. Highly suggest to check it out.

Great spot for muzikal events. Excellent sound system. We saw musical Mamma mia and is absolutely: must see event.

Križanke is a masterpiece by the architect Jože Plečnik and deserves a complete renovation with new facilities in the space where the school is located and one really good restaurant worthy of the location (the restaurant offer has always been a weak point of Križanke). In spite of everything, it is the ultimate venue for summer concerts and shows, for me personally the most beautiful in Slovenia in general and one of the most romantic places for all kinds of romantic encounters.

A wonderful venue for concerts and events. Excellent ambience, very good sound system and acoustics. It is located in the city centre.
