This is a classic Milwaukee joint! I think you almost have to pay a visit here to understand:) the burgers & grilled chicken sandwiches are HUGE!! And so fairly priced. You can easily feed two people for under $20. It’s made to order, so don’t come when you’re hangry and impatient, because there’s usually it’s THAT good! It’s prepared pretty quickly and service is usually really good. No where to sit and eat inside - there are standing tables or go outside to sit on the stadium like concrete seating. Don’t miss the cows out back… they are pretty mesmerizing! This may not be gourmet, but it is classic, consistent, and so affordable! And then there is the ice cream - which might be the whole reason you come! Along with classic chocolate and vanilla there are two rotating and different flavors every day.

I've been here many times and the quality is always great! I love the KRK burger, and I have never been let down with their special flavors of the day. Only downside is there is no seating indoors so winter you have to sit in your car, but the prices are so good I would sit in an active volcano if that's what I needed to do in order to eat my Kopp's meal.

If you are lactose intolerant, this place isn’t for you 😄. Everything here is full of tasty cheese, butter and cream. We came on the wrong time of the day, there where 30-50 inside waiting for their food, one guy took away 12-15 bags of stuff and we ended up waiting over 20 minutes for our burgers, onion rings and fries. But it was worth the wait as everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The ice cream of the day was wedding cake and bourbon chocolate walnut, both so good.

Kopp’s frozen custard in Glendale, WI is well known for the jumbo burger and hand-made custard in the Milwaukee area. This chain restaurant has been around since 1950. The place in Glendale was packed with wall to wall people ordering and waiting for the orders. People can order online to save the wait time. Employees at the counter were friendly, helpful and patient. There is a monthly frozen custard flavor list which lists the daily flavors. Also, a special sundae and shake each month. We had the daily frozen custard flavors: wedding cake and chocolate bourbon pecan pie frozen custards in cups. Frozen custards were silky smooth, so rich and creamy with milky taste. We tasted the rich bourbon flavor in the chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Their jumbo, juicy hamburger was large enough that two people in our group decided to share it. Their big, crispy onion rings were a hit for our group as they were crunchy, lightly salted and with a hint of buttery flavor. One of the best onion rings that we’ve ever had. This Milwaukee institution now has three locations in the Milwaukee area. They offer other items on the menu such as milkshakes, sundaes, grilled chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, etc. So if you are in the area, do give this classic Milwaukee landmark a try.

The best custard I've ever had! So rich and I love the little waffle cookie/piece that comes with the ice cream. I've been to Hefner's and for the double scoop, Koop's gives you almost double of what Hefner gives you. And Kopp's has more flavor in their heavy cream. Highly recommend the daily flavors that they have. There's 4 lines, left 2 are for the custards, and the right 2 are for burgers foods and shakes. It can be confusing but yeah relatively fast service. Highly recommend it!

Cheeseburger with light ketchup and pickles, fries, and a Cherry Coke - my favorite. Their custard is amazing!! Sometimes, I just want a sundae for lunch! A hot fudge, raspberry sundae with pecans!

Always a favorite to stop by when we are in Wisconsin. Food is always such great value and TASTY!!!! You just get their burgers, onion rings and custard! Be warned for first timers: it can get busy QUICK. You can order ahead online and pick it up in a separate line! Also, no seated tables indoors so best to eat at a standing table inside or sit outside!

Okurrrr the Internet did not lie about this one. When I say this was the best frozen custard I ever had, I meant it was the BEST FREAKING FROZEN CUSTARD I EVER HAD (all caps for emphasis and to get my point across.). If you’re visiting WI, you cannot skip this place. My only regret is that I didn’t go back for me. I dropped in to try their famous Giant Hamburger and Frozen Custard. I grabbed a cheeseburger with fries and the special of the day, the Birthday Cake custard, total was about $15.00. The signs don’t lie - the burger was huge! The bun looked like a pancake, and the burger covered the entire circumference. It also tasted wonderful, like a classic drive-thru greasy burg that brings you back in time. The custard was excellent, the perfect blend of creamy, smooth and rich bliss that melted in your mouth. It had chunks of vanilla cake on top that were sweet and moist. It’s my favorite custard I’ve ever had to date and I’ll be dreaming of the way I can have it again. Not too long after my visit to Kopp’s, I stopped by a couple places offering custard in my hometown. They just didn’t hit the same. Kopp’s is doing something so right. I can’t recommend it enough.
