We are visiting from New York, on honeymoon in Norway. Loved this restaurant. Lovely place for an affordable upscale dinner that includes Norwegian ingredients. Starting with the bread and butter, which was out of this world, and then going for the full meal. Delicious and so unique. The staff was great. The place is beautiful. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Kolonihagen. They accommodated our group of 8 really well (even though our initial reservation had only been for 6 people by my mistake). We ended up taking the 5 course menu which was absolutely breathtaking. Great creations, locally sourced. You can also substitute dishes or go for a vegetarian / vegan menu. Service was really friendly, taking the time to explain every course in detail and even surprising us with a little something at the end. I would definitely recommend this place!

You pay more for less pretty much anywhere else in oslo. Here you get personal service, everything catered to your needs without you feeling you’re bothering the staff. We have two dogs that also demand a bit of attention - which they got ;) The wine was excellent even tho I can’t really explain perfectly what I like. It came out just like I wanted. The food is so good - order the whole menu if you have the time. I’ve been here so many times and it never let me down. Thank you!

Kolonihagen is a charming restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was excellent and professional. The food was good and locally-sourced so you get a taste of Norwegian flavours.

The staff was present but not intrusive which helped us really enjoy the experience. The portions are rather on the small side, but the food is presented in an attractive way. All in all, a perfect place for a relaxing Saturday. I'll be coming back.

Simply delicious! We ordered their full menu and didn’t regret it. The place is cozy and the service is great! The food ingredients are very fresh plus cooked and prepared perfectly. Their tartar (raw beef) is super fresh and simply marvelous. And lastly, the pork is juicy, tender and nicely seasoned. Will come back if got the chance.

We love coming and can’t fault anything, but we want to give an extra note to say that it’s the staff that make our visits special and wanting to come back! Especially Caesar (apologies if spelt wrong) with his friendliness, wine knowledge and attentiveness we always feel like we’re in great hands! We can’t wait to go again already 🤗

Great place for new experience. Had 5 course meal, not the tastiest and delicious food but definitely a nice experience. Their food is ecological and local. Good service and a cozy place. Outside is perfect on a sunny day. Bathroom is very aesthetic
