This flea market is amazing. If you want a true authentic hand knit Icelandic sweater, this is the place to come for the best selection. So many beautiful unique sweaters. Some vendors take credit cards but many want cash. There is an ATM here so that makes it convenient. The vendors were all very nice.

The stalls are all equally priced, so no need to try and find a. Bargain as they've levelled the saying field. A lot of stuff you can buy elsewhere. Atmospheric to walk around with some very quirky stalls and a little supermarket where you can buy Icelandic bread and frozen fish. It's pretty nice to walk around and has a.nice atmosphere.

This is a great market full of hidden treasures and well below the retail prices of the main shops. It's best to take your time and treasure hunt through the tribe of goodies, there is a mix range of products but the local and vintage goods are towards the back of the space. I found these beautifully local made bracelets (located along the back wall between currency of old notes and handmade ceramics) with volcano stones 2,500 kr each, for gifts better priced than other shops and it's always good to support local businesses. Highly recommend checking it out.

If you think you’re gonna escape the high prices of iceland don’t get your hopes too high. It feels like a chain of standard shops that are here every day just some of them have a bit more reasonable prices, like books and DVDs (yes they still sell them). Jewelery or wool clothing is rather tourist priced. They have a grocery department too which is interesting though. Plus they have toilets.

The flea market is not large. The shops included used books, knitting sweater, stamps and money collection, dried fishes, jewellery etc For 5 pieces of magnets cost KR 2000. Epoxy magnets cost KR2500 for three. Sea salts 50g small bottle cost 300KR

It sounds like it’s not every weekend, but they did have fresh puffins (lunda) for sale at the meat market here. Loved fun flea market vendors and artists here.

It's fun? Cool to experience unique shops and like that it changes every weekend, depending on which vendors want to sell. You can find anything from Icelandic wool (probably one of the better prices you'll find during your trip- wish we got our hats here on day 1, but we took our chances!) to old CDs to jewelry. There's a little food market in the back and also a cafe area (looked empty so we didn't get anything) if you are in need of some refreshments! We didn't end up getting anything (food or souvenirs), but was fun! A nice indoor market to stroll around. I find it interesting that you can try fish (many types of salmon and the fermented shark). You can find interesting things to shop here.
