I came here because of the movie before sunrise, what a lovely place! I've never met friendly staff like that in the whole of my travel journey, very friendly and they keep smiling at you even tho the place is crowded. I found the cake and the coffee okay, and the only problem I had they take cash only. Thanks for the great hospitality from your great staff!

Really cute cafe with an old authentic vibe. It’s pretty small with only a few tables on the inside and outside. The service was fast and friendly and it was the best place to have a coffee break.

Tiny, quaint cafe. My husband read about this place somewhere and insisted we go here for breakfast. They won’t open until 10am. We ordered frankfurters for my son, and my husband and I shared the three egg farmers omelette and a slice of their Sacher torte. The bread was overly buttered for our tastes but everything else was delicious.

The place is cool. Bread with camembert (and various additives to it) - 🫶🏻 But the service (the waiter) ruins everything: the table is dirty, he doesn’t smile, he doesn’t carry the menu, he’s in no hurry to accept the order, payment for the order is also delayed - he took the money, but we waited for change for exactly 5-10 minutes. I understand that he is the only one in the entire establishment and simply cannot cope. But I don't think this should be a problem for visitors.

The best strudel in town. We had farmes breakfast and cheese sandvich. They were delicious. Architecture and atmosphere great. Service is stunning!

Visited to have a bite to eat. This is an old bar, really good interiors and atmosphere. Staff felt like they had worked there a long time and were really friendly and efficient. Beer is pretty standard but fits the place. Had two wiener sausages. It was served with some dark bread, grated cheese and two kinds of mustard. For a simple bar plate it was very tasty. And the spicy mustard really hit the eyes. Recommended.

The rudest wait staff. Waited 20 minutes for a menu, asked about how big the portion was and was barked at that it was 2 or 3 eggs (no mention of size of the omelette), he then insisted that we must order a drink (apparently you cannot order food without an overpriced tea), then we waited and waited for our food (he brought out the food for the tables next to us that spoke German before ours despite us ordering first), the food was okay (i make a better omelette at home), then he had the audacity to ask for a tip. There is rude, and then there is this, a whole new level. With how long it took to get our food, I could have bought chickens, harvested eggs, grown the vegetables, and made the omelette myself and had a much more pleasant experience.

A very cozy cafe frequented by locals with a large selection of beer, wine and cocktails. As per Viennese custom, we shared our table with two local gentlemen who were delightful and recommended trying a local favourite, a spritzer which was refreshing and hydrating. Highly recommended spot to stop for a drink or three and a bite to eat, just make sure you bring cash!
