Very traditional place, on a nice square in the centre. We really liked the apple pie; a very tasty apfelatrudel! The coffee, however, was not that good, and it took quite the time to bring it to us.. The staff was also not the friendliest and didn’t speak much English.

Really cute cafe with an old authentic vibe. It’s pretty small with only a few tables on the inside and outside. The service was fast and friendly and it was the best place to have a coffee break.

I came here because of the movie before sunrise, what a lovely place! I've never met friendly staff like that in the whole of my travel journey, very friendly and they keep smiling at you even tho the place is crowded. I found the cake and the coffee okay, and the only problem I had they take cash only. Thanks for the great hospitality from your great staff!

Tiny, quaint cafe. My husband read about this place somewhere and insisted we go here for breakfast. They won’t open until 10am. We ordered frankfurters for my son, and my husband and I shared the three egg farmers omelette and a slice of their Sacher torte. The bread was overly buttered for our tastes but everything else was delicious.

The place is cool. Bread with camembert (and various additives to it) - 🫶🏻 But the service (the waiter) ruins everything: the table is dirty, he doesn’t smile, he doesn’t carry the menu, he’s in no hurry to accept the order, payment for the order is also delayed - he took the money, but we waited for change for exactly 5-10 minutes. I understand that he is the only one in the entire establishment and simply cannot cope. But I don't think this should be a problem for visitors.

Wonderful food and waiter Harry, very positive and pleasant, many thanks to him for his work. The second waitress, I don't know her name, but she is a rude and extremely unpleasant person, doing everything with favour and showing it on her face. We asked if we could sit outside and were refused, complaining that it would be cold for her to take our coffee outside, although when we sat down inside she put other guests outside. You should not go into the service sector and work with people, if you find it so difficult to communicate with people, I advise you to change the field of activity

A very cozy cafe frequented by locals with a large selection of beer, wine and cocktails. As per Viennese custom, we shared our table with two local gentlemen who were delightful and recommended trying a local favourite, a spritzer which was refreshing and hydrating. Highly recommended spot to stop for a drink or three and a bite to eat, just make sure you bring cash!
