Yummy dining experience. Indoor seating available too. Great coffee and generous portions for breakfast. Highly recommend the banana bread from Agnes - tastes like gingerbread. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Went to check out this place specifically for the rave about the açai bowls but were really disappointed - maybe we just went on an unlucky day but we paid extra for homemade nut butter and it was almost non existent along with the granola, the açai itself tastes like it has a lot of added sugar and the toppings of fruit were mostly melon and rockmelon that were not enjoyable. The staff were not unfriendly but also not welcoming. The place was busy so maybe the food is great and the surrounding area is beautiful!

Absolutely loved the food. I especially loved the house made banana bread, which is gluten free and I was finally able to eat banana bread again. It was better than any I've ever had, with roasted honey butter it was delicious! My omelette was very nice and looked so pretty too 😄 full of flavour. Overall experience was great!! Definitely recommend.

It’s a nice brunch place near the river. We made a booking, as we knew it was going to be busy on a Sunday morning & we were happy with everything. The dining in area is located in a foyer of a commercial building, so it’s a bit noisy, but we can still have a conversation without having to shout. We were seated promptly & our coffee order came out quick and it’s good coffee too. We had the omelette, sticky date pancakes & zucchini & corn fritters. I had the fritters and thought it would be nicer if they were crispier, but they were tasty & presented nicely. The sticky date pancakes and omelette look delicious too. The service was good & even though there was a seating time limit due to covid-19, we didn’t feel rushed. We will come back again.

what a beautiful spot! Honestly we were so impressed with the service here. Sometimes soy separates when baristas make flat whites and it’s pretty unavoidable. However, when we mentioned it, they were so happy to make us another one (which was PERFECT) with extra extra chocolate shavings. This is the kind of stuff that makes me return to a business. Btw. Toasties are incredible, they source their bread from Sprout in James St. So so good. Highly recommend!

Avocado Toast with Thick Cut Sourdough, Fresh Herbs, Local EVOO, Honey Roasted Lemon, Seasonings ($13) Açai Bowl- Açai With Seasonal Fruit, Passionfruit, House Almond Butter & Classic Oat Granola ($20) I can’t believe I have never been to Kin before. Visited Saturday morning and it was packed with people. They have a small but good menu. I went with the avocado toast which was delicious. The sourdough was thick with a soft chewy inside and crusty exterior. topped with a good amount of avocado, herbs, olive oil and seasonings. Loved the uniqueness of the honey roasted lemon which added the perfect combination of sweet tanginess. Acai bowl was thick with a good amount of granola and fresh fruits. Food was quick and the atmosphere was nice. It’s a shame the inside dining area isn’t open on weekends though.

I couldn’t rate this place high enough. I studied here one morning and observed for the hours I spent here; the customer service was impeccable. The staff chatted with literally everyone and A LOT of regulars came for their morning coffee. It was lovely to be around. My açai bowl was amazing & the coffees tasted smooth and sweet (no bitterness). I will definitely be back. Thank you 😊😊😊

Delicious food paired with equally delicious coffee! The Spanish Omelette was super filling and delicious. The whipped feta and chimichurri went fantastically with the omelette and the crusty buttered sourdough toast.

What a healthy little dose of pep Kin + Co adds to this stretch of Macquarie Street! This pop of on-trend styling is backed up with a menu (think fresh healthy eats) and coffee (locally roasted Cleanskin) to make any morning (or brunch) worth the effort. We dined as a group of 5 on a Sunday morning and it couldn't have been more relaxed. Coffee orders were taken as menus were laid before us and we were given plenty of time to consider what we'd like to order as we natted away. Between us all we managed to sample key menu items including the avocado on toast, wilted greens with qunioa and a poached eggs and the exceptionally Summer fresh granola with fresh fruits. So, why not grab your bike and make the trek to Teneriffe this weekend!

You must go to Kin + Co! Modern, clean, sleek, & chic, are all appropriate words to describe the beautiful minimalist interior. Kin + Co at 24 Macquarie St Teneriffe, appears to just be a hole-in-the-wall coffee takeaway joint, but it is indeed a cafe once you've realised that there is a main entrance (which we totally missed!). Luckily for us, Tim (an acquaintance from Reverend's), was there to show us the way. Well rounded coffee from Clean Skin Coffee, with subtle flavours; a little caramel, & some sweetness. All expertly made by the man of many talents Larry (designer & fashion blogger extraordinaire). We had the: The "Shakshuka ($14)" Beans, onions, capsicum, tomatoes, spices, 2 cracked eggs & thick soughdough bread. Vg, gf & vegan options available. It was delicious, well balanced, & satisfying. Sourdough is perfect for scooping up all the sauce & beans. The Sautéed brioche with torched bananas, creme patisserie & salted caramel ($16) was so decadent; it took our taste buds on a sweet date to ecstasy-land. It was so delicious, & such a generous serving. Unfortunately we couldn't finish it all; so full! Kin + Co's menu is consistent with the cafe's pared-down style. Simple but done really well! Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free options, & price-wise, nothing appeared to be over $16. Most definitely coming back here. Open Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm. Saturday & Sunday 7am till 2pm.

Food was OK. Can't complain about the service, there was none. It's also super loud so if you want to be able to talk to your friends at the table - go elsewhere.

Very poor management. Definitely not recommended. A few weeks ago a waitress with an accent who just yelled me after I told me to take my order.

A street view sometimes can lead you into not coming into a venue, as has the case in this situation. Have driven past here millions of times, but finally got here from a recommendation from my partner. The street view is very miss leading, once you do get here , you enter down the stairs, it opens up to a massive area. The service was good , prompt, the food was delicious and the coffee tasty, try the blueberry smoothie. Would highly recommend.

What a great little surprise in Newstead. I tried this place out for the first time this morning for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Totally agree with another review: it does look very unassuming from the outside but inside it is warm and welcoming. The food was great. I went for avocado and goat's cheese on sourdough, with poached eggs. Savoury mince, the breakfast burger and omelette were also well-received at our table. Coffee was top notch. Service was friendly and efficient. I liked the atmosphere inside and loved the green touches. Would definitely return.

One of the best breakfast spots in Brisbane. The coffee is great, poached eggs on rye sourdough is perfect every time, and the eggs Benedict is the best I've had anywhere. I eat here at least a couple of times a month and never get sick of it. Lots of space and friendly staff. A hidden gem!

Absolutely sensational spot. Fantastic atmosphere, filled with plants and a great welcoming vibe. They also happen to be serving a boss range of filter coffee from a favourite of mine down in Tasmania, Villino Coffee (Seriously, everyone in Aussie should get onto these guys!) Brisbane is definitely hot spot for great espresso based coffee at the moment, but it's also really heartening seeing more and more cafes take that leap in pushing the filter style brew methods as well. These guys do a great job food wise, and absolutely nailed the filter as well. I had a Trinity for the first time which was delicate and balanced, with a slightly heavier mouthfeel than regular pour over style methods. Delish. Will definitely be back when i'm in Brisbane next.

Very original menu and food that will surprise you. Location is great and the vibe very relaxed. Very kid friendly.

Best breakfast in town. Try the kin and co eggs Benedict, it is sensational. The rye bread they use is the best bread you will eat. Great coffe, great service, can't go wrong!

Fantastic atmosphere, good customer service and even though they were busy everyone was ready to help and got us a table very quickly!

Wonderful space inside, coffee was excellent, service prompt and polite and food was great. What more could you want!
