"Set on the banks of the Takase River, this bistro specialises in charcoal grilling: think Wagyu beef, burgers, chicken brochette and charred yellowtail with yuzu, coriander and ginger. There are two large sharing tables, giving Kiln a communal, informal ambience. The dining room’s river-facing windows let in plenty of sunlight during the day and the space becomes cosy at night, when Artek pendant lamps light the brick-and-wood interior."
The best cappuccino i have had in Japan! I had to have two it was so good! You walk in with classic music playing and it just sets such an amazing atmosphere to sit back and enjoy your coffee (or beer) and watch the world go by! A good selection of cakes and friendly staff-a must for all coffee lovers!
I would also be a great place for an early drink as they do have small selection of drinks.

Had the most delectable steak and superb experience overall. They will bring a range of options of meat to your table and you get to choose several cuts, which they will grill to perfection. Would definitely visit again!

The entrance to the store is difficult to find.
The inside of the shop is clean and the staff are polite customer service.
The menu seems to be popular among hamburgers and the price of hamburgers is reasonable.
The steak was also soft and delicious.

Simple but elegantly executed food in a modern style. Emphasis is on the wood-fired oven and both meat and vegetables are cooked perfectly, with attention to detail. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome despite our limited Japanese.
