I had the seasonal peach burrata toast today and it was incredible! I have also tried several other things on the menu for breakfast and lunch, sweet and savory and have never been disappointed. I absolutely love the staff here! The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is so positive. The patio is dog friendly and they are always the sweetest to my pups.

Great spot! Got a frittata, a burger, a seasonal peach basil toast and two Mexican mochas. Everything was great! We asked for the mochas to be half the sweetness and they came out just right 👍 Good service and the place is cute both inside and the outdoor patio.

Very tasty food with lots of options. Espectacular service from Parker. She was able to customize our meals to meet our dietary needs. Great spot for breakfast or lunch The fritata with a side of pulled pork was excellent. Good coffee, too.

Nice brunch at Kensington Cafe. We sat on the dog friendly patio, which is still comfortable even in the rain. We ordered the pulled pork hash scramble and the surf rider albacore tuna melt with Swiss cheese and pasta salad. The staff is very friendly and the food comes quick. Really nice location, great for walking around after.

This a very cute restaurant in Kensington. We came early on a Monday morning and they were busy but not super busy. We got sat right away on the outside patio. The weather was perfect for sitting outside. To drink I ordered an iced strawberry matcha that was delicious And my boyfriend got the drink that's 4 espresso shots, iced (I don't remember the name) Food wise we both ordered breakfast bowls, I got the hashbrown breakfast bowl and he got the asada breakfast bowl. We both enjoyed our food alot. Good portion as well. We will definitely be back if we are ever in San Diego again

I came here for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. From the onset the host was incredibly nice. We ordered chilaquiles and lox, which were both fresh and delicious. For coffee, we got the Mexican Mocha and the Lavender Latte. The Mexican Mocha was a little on the less sweet side, but both drinks had a very nice flavor. Everyone who worked at the restaurant, including the servers, were incredibly attentive. They had live music during this time which I’m normally not a fan of but it was very chill and the singer was actually quite good. The environment was also super cute. Everything was clean and trendy. I’d 100% come back if I was in the area more!

Kensington Cafe is a neighborhood gem! Consistently solid food (Spanish Revival and anything else). Local tip: Make sure you order a cortado crafted by Nate - it will exceed all coffee expectations, even as a decaf.

My absolute fav place for basically everything… vibes, energy, joy, happiness.. and also coffee, pastries (gf and vegan) healthy food and community! Nate is da bomb and always love that he remembers my order! This place is female owned and Lauren should run for mayor… :P the longevity of the staff and making it through a pandemic says a lot! If Ken Cafe had an ambassador program, I’d def apply! Love the is place thanks for all you do and how you lead this community!
