What a FABULOUS first meal in Vienna (woooooooo)!!! I ordered the Tokyo ramen and added chili powder to make it spicy. The second I saw it, I had a good feeling it’d be delicious. The broth was perfectly hot and the taste immediately relieved me of my worries (I had horrible ramen recently in Madrid). This was a shoyu ramen and although more thin and less creamy of a broth than I’m used to, it was divine. The noodles did slightly resemble spaghetti but the taste made up for it. The meat genuinely melted in my mouth, which was my favorite part, followed the soft-boiled egg of course. It’s a big bowl of food so you need to be hungry. I hadn’t eaten in 8 hours so I devoured the entire thing. I sat alone and the vibe was very cozy and warm. It was €16 so a little more on the expensive side, but I don’t regret it. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna! It’s not right in the city but it’s worth a tram.

Coming from Asia and after days of eating bread, ramen felt like a necessity. We hoped this restaurant would satisfy our cravings, but the ramen on the menu didn’t quite meet our expectations given the price. Kudos to the staff for doing their best though— the service was pleasant but perhaps our expectations were simply too high. If you’re looking for a more authentic ramen experience, I’d recommend getting your ramen fix elsewhere.

Delicious ramen and friendly staff! The atmosphere is super cool, we loved the custom artwork that's on the menu and walls. Wide selection of ramen and other Japanese foods, wish we could've tried more!

An interesting experience, without question. Is there an air of hippy pretentiousness? Yes—inevitably so, for a hipster ramen spot in Vienna. But the chicken ramen I ordered was, to my surprise, rather intriguing. The citrusy yuzu-based broth felt like it might have taken some southeast asian influences. The chicken pieces were tender, and the pairing of the bright citrus broth with sweet snap peas was, against all odds, quite harmonious. Who would have thunk? The noodles were smooth and well-prepared. Still, while I found it pleasantly surprising, it isn't something I would go out of my way to seek again. Everything was, technically speaking, fine, but I wasn't moved by it. Like wearing black on black: sure, you can do it, but you do you.

I really enjoyed this ramen place! The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are big and filling. We especially recommend the Tokyo Ramen – full of flavor and perfectly balanced. The sake is also excellent and pairs really well with the dishes. Definitely worth visiting to experience it all!

Google
The food was really good. The gyoza was perfectly cooked and so tasty. The ramen was also excellent and the flavors were wonderful, one of the best ramen broths I’ve had. I got one drink and it was also very tasty. I would recommend to anyone looking for good ramen in the area.

Google
Terrible staff. Do not bring children as they are clearly not welcome. We came in to order takeaway and were invited to sit at the counter to choose and wait while the food was being prepared. My younger daughter, who is four years old, was reprimanded three separate times over trivial things. First she was scolded in German because she had her feet on the stool she was sitting on. I can understand it, but we hadn’t noticed, otherwise we would have corrected her ourselves. The attitude was completely unnecessary. Then she dropped a chopstick on the floor and was told off again and asked to pick it up. Shortly after, the waitress reprimanded her once more because she was standing near her while she was carrying plates, even though I had already pulled my daughter closer to me, so the comment was pointless. In that moment, the waitress also ORDERED us to stay seated. Unpleasant and unwelcoming experience.

Yelp
Great ramen with very generous portion sizes. I got the Tokyo ramen which was very good, and much too big to finish at lunch (and I'm an American, so one would think I'm used to big portion sizes!) The service was fast and attentive as well. Small place, but did not need to wait for a seat

Yelp
Dont be deceived by its looks. I have had better ramen before sorry to say this. The fried kimchi was good but i wasnt impressed with the ramen. Its taste was totally bitter the meat was good but the rest... you can find better ramen somewhere else...

Yelp
Great ramen, nice place and a great vegan option!! big portion sizes, not expensive at all and you can see the guy making the ramen from scratch right in front of you so that's pretty cool

Yelp
Pretty authentic Japanese ramen. Thin noodles which I love a lot. The soup's great. And so considerable that they have three sizes of the bowl for different people.

Yelp
Very impressed coming from California where Ramen is the new black! Chef is doing an excellent job. Pork belly sliders were amazing, as well as the Ramen. Great balance and flavors. Ultimate comfort food.

Yelp
The band and I always like to find unpopular, untouristy places to eat for more authenticity. After yelping this place, we walked 2.5 miles to a warm ramen spot that wasn't too occupied. After receiving our orders, we were impressed with the buttery flavor of the noodles that made it that much more enjoyable. So much that we walked back the next evening to enjoy it before we departed to the next city. Will definitely return here!!!

Yelp
Best Ramen in town! The menu is focused, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is great (if you're into good indie music and pop culture). Also very accomadating to kids and toddlers. I highly recommend the Smoky Men and Dragon Ramen. The homemade noodles are very good, and the broth has a rich taste.

Yelp
Great location and space. Service was very attentive and there were a good selection of drinks. We enjoyed the Kimchi appetizer. Where this place really stumbles is the Ramen. The both was lacking richness and depth and came across as thin and flavorless. The noodles lacked character as well. Having lived in Japan and being a big Ramen fan I was thrilled to see Karma in Vienna. My hopes, at least for now are dashed.

Yelp
I visited Karma Ramen with my friend Yuting and we visited it for the first time. We are ramen lover and before we visited this restaurant we had read some blog and they said it taste good so i had such high expectations to their ramen... I love the environment and their employee are very friendly. We ordered Hokkaido Special ramen and Yasai ramen.. Both of us enjoy the environment but the problem is the SOUP.. when i drink the ramen soup i can feel the saltiness in my mouth, it make my throat very dry .. although the ramen is come together with spring onion, dried seaweed and bamboo shoot but it doesn't help to reduce the saltiness of the ramen soup. Of course the pork is very salty too so is salty Pork + salty soup .... both ramen are very oily and this is one of the saltiest ramen i ever ate in my entire life  !!!  The salty soup had covered all the essences of the ingredients so i can't really taste the ramen. I felt that im eating a bowl of "salty noodle". We had high expectation to their ramen.  :(  From my point of view, they should QC their ramen all the time. They need improvement ! We don't have a huge choice about ramen in vienna. Will we go back again?  Maybe to check if they have improved?! Do you have same experience with me? share with me i would like to know too.

Yelp
We went there around 13 and caught the lunch menu. The food was very good, service was friendly and atmosphere and ambience was really great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that almost all dishes on the menu were with pork or definitely meat. We went there for the ramen and were left with only 2 options which makes it difficult to go again if we want to try new things. If you're not a vegetarian this place is a must!

Yelp
I am a very big ramen fan, so finding a good ramen place in Vienna is a goal of mine for the summer. Karma ramen is the first place I have been to for ramen in the city. It was pretty good. Great portion size, quick service, the ambiance is good too. Getting here is easy, just off of the U4. I ordered the Hokkaido Special Ramen. The broth is fairly oily and slightly bland. The noodles seem cheap, but the topping were well prepared. Over all a 3/5 stars. Still looking for a place to warm my soul

Kristina T.

Yelp
Nice place to meet family and friends. Not so good for business and meetings with children, because they are always food= very good quality and well taste dishes. We tried different ramens (smoked, hokkaido and spicy one) ribs, dimsum predish and 'burger'. We were very happy all our choices, but the highlight for me was the matcha eiscream. Very special taste and creamy texture. Next time we need more portions!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and decor and the service was good. The food was lacking flavour. The gyoza was bland with a hint of Szechuan pepper corn with watered down dipping sauce and the Hokkaido ramen was bland. The soup had little flavour. Th miso broth was very light. I'm use to a full flavoured broth and tasty ramen noodles from Kyushu. The ramble had an egg, some corn and 4 piece of chashu but it all lack flavour. The soup didn't taste like it had and dashi to start

Natalie K.

Yelp
Nice casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Liked the appetizer and gyoja, but the ramen itself... Sorry, it just did not work. I am quite familiar with Japanese cuisine as I lived there for a few years, and I think they should have done something to take the awkward smell off the chashu and menma. The soup lacked flavor as well.
