Kapital

On my recent visit to Tokyo, I made it a point to book a hotel stay near the three Kapital shops in Ebisuminami. Being a fan of Kapital for many years, it was a treat to be able to visit their shop. I was not disappointed. There is a genius in their designs, as well as a profound sense of humor. There is a spirit of play that is missing in clothing nowadays; that feels as necessary as ever.

Handsover one of the best clothing stores in Tokyo.

The design of this store is the most interesting of the Kapital locations in Tokyo. The staff is very hip youth who I found quite friendly and interesting, and reminded me of my own days as an underemployed ne’er-do-well whose only capital was cultural, not economic. Those intimidated by this attitude fail to understand that this is their piece of the world, and we who have the money to buy the clothes are just renting a small corner of it.

Cool store. I love the clothes. Staff are beyond judgmental and lethargic. They don’t seem to want to help or attend to any of your needs. Don’t go to this location

The worst and least tourist friendly Kapital store in Japan. The staffs are very unfriendly and obnoxious.

Shoutout to Kitty (I hope I spelled that right). Very kind and extroverted person who's good at making you feel welcomed to the store. She speaks 5 languages and has an eye for fashion. So don't stress about the employees not being able to speak to you. In fact, all the workers knew English. As for Kitty, this store hugely benefits having her and I hope she can succeed in her future fashion endeavours! As for the shop, the shop was nicely designed & the fabric designs on certain pieces are great! They take staple pieces like tshirts, jeans, suit jackets or jean jackets and add their own flare to it which I feel is very under appreciated in the Western fashion scene as sometimes clothes can be very copy & paste. Definitely worth checking out. I saw a pair of pants I liked so I might come back in a few days for sure!

Actually,the design of their clothes and the atmosphere of their store are both unique and wonderful. While one of the staff behaved very aggressively , like my girlfriend and I were making a choice between 3 clothes. We tried them on but they don’t fit us . So we hanged them back to the shelves. soon the staff come close to our side and phew on us like we did something wrong , what I want to express is that the duty of the staff should be serving the customers but not to blame every thing and I am sure that this staff behaved very rude ! Especially for the foreigners
