Kan You Cake

Delicious cakes! I liked their cakes they are not too sweet, and the fluffy texture. Very pleasant to eat. I’d like to see more tables for people to dine in rather than come and go rushing for take out orders.

The roll cakes are well balanced, not too sweet and very soft chiffon. The freeze dried chocolate ice cream is addicting. The ambiance is cute and the service is good. Would also love to try cake from this place.

Best roll cake in Calgary! Their cake texture was so soft and buttery. The cream was light and not too sweet. Chestnut flavor was nice. Their roll cakes were better than many cake stores I visited. So I couldn’t help ordering another cake—Lychee cheesecake which was rare. With fancy appearance, and good taste also!!! But my first choice is still the roll cake🤪

I was looking up bakeries in Calgary that had mont blanc chestnut cakes and found this place via a Google search. I was able to make an online order for pick up 3 days in advance. I'm glad I ordered in advance because when I arrived at 2PM on a Tuesday, some items were sold out. I ordered the assorted roll cake box and chest tarts. Everything was really good and not too sweet as expected from an Asian bakery. My favorite roll cake was surprisingly the chocolate, it was the perfect amount of richness and sweetness. Highly recommend their roll cakes and would come back.

High quality cakes here! Delicious and beautiful. Remember to order ahead of time though. Wish they had a business number to call.

Everything is good especially the roll cakes and canneles. Cakes are always fresh here with different options. I like the canneles too. It is crunchy on the outside and soft inside that i cannot find it in anywhere in Calgary. I will come back to try their desserts soon!

Friendly service, and a delightful selection of desserts to choose from. My favourite is the basque cheesecakes, not many places make these. The chocolate one is so silky with a nice outer crust. The roll cakes are probably the best in the city, so creamy and fresh. There are also plenty of other items to choose from. Prices are decent, and the packaging makes these treats into a special gift. I’ll be back on a regular basis.

This is easily my favourite pastry shop in Calgary. If I lived close enough I'd be there every week. They offer a lot of Asian inspired flavours like matcha, houjicha and even Thai tea (changes depending on season and other factors). The flavour tastes so similar to pastries that I've had in Japan which aren't too sweet. Her presentation is spot on too. I always look forward to trying her new creations when they come out. My husband and I love this pastry shop so much we asked if they could do favours for our wedding. Kan Yan handled our favours with care and even packaged everything for us. The guests LOVED them. We really appreciate her letting us work with her and getting to share her creations with our guests.
