Very delicious Georgian food. They have menu in English and they speak enough English. With some google translate we didn’t have any issue. I recommend the pork Shashlik with green tkemali sauce.

Restaurant "KAKHELEBI" is a cozy place on the outskirts of the city to Kakheti. The place has a number of important advantages: - they are OPEN and waiting for guests as early as 09:30 am! Therefore, in those cases when our tourists have a flight arriving in the morning, and it’s early to go to the hotel, but they already need to have breakfast, we go to #Kakhelebi. - it's DELICIOUS here. Excellent Georgian cuisine. All the products are selected: aromatic vegetables, kamechis matsoni (buffalo #matsoni), and the meat is always the most tender, and #khinkali is juicy and always available (many restaurants are now removing khinkali from the menu - saving themselves from unnecessary hassle in the kitchen), and you have freshly brewed #Georgian_tea in a wrapper (without trivial bags) - real Georgian cuisine without excesses in tribute to fashion, when they bring the dish to you just to try it, since you need to look for it like a work of art on a wide plate. - it’s COZY here. Details, decor, interior - everything is thought out. Unique, with dignity and the atmosphere of Georgian flavor has been preserved.

The waiter 3 times forgot what we have ordered, still didn’t bring some meals. He couldn’t advise and recommend wine, veal shashlik was not tasty- it was not made on grill and it was just dry meat on the plate with only onions on top. My daughter wanted other meal because for a normal grown up person it is small plate. In Georgia it is not normal, I have been in a lot of places in this country where is more tasty and staff is very friendly.

I am georgian and I certainly can rate the food in Georgian restaurant. This place served us yesterday the best food I ever had in restaurants in Georgia. I can certainly say that this is the best place to eat in Tbilisi. Service 5 stars, waiters very polite. The interior best of the best and authentic. What about food? 10 of the 10. Ordered kabab, khinkali and adjaruli khachapuri. Extremely tasty. Everything very fresh. Meat smells and tastes very good. Cheese and dough in khachapuri very tasty. With kabab we were served lavash (thin georgian bread)freshly baked and tomato sauce made before serve from fresh tomatoes. The prices are more than average and higher than in common places in Tbilisi. But you will receive high quality food and best taste for money. I think it's better to eat here 10 khinkali for 2.50 lari or 1 kabab for 22 lari, than 20 pieces in other place with lack of taste. That was a really good surprise. Food is delicious (beef - salmon - Georgian salad - grilled vegetables). Taste are really great Waitress is kind and helpful. Despite the fact they were closing at 09h00pm and we arrived at 08h25pm we had time to enjoy our diner and they gave us extra time. Once again. That was a great surprise and I recommandé this place.

This is one of my favorite food spots in Tbilisi. Its authentic atmosphere and delicious food always makes you want to come back.
