KAE Sushi by Chef Landa

Definitely a standout menu selection of sushi rolls. I truly enjoyed the wide selection of unique specialty rolls and would highly recommend both the Signature Rolls and the Chef’s Recommendations. Service was excellent and the quality and pricing are on par. I will be returning to try additional menu items and everything we had was outstanding.

If you’re looking for a top-tier sushi experience, look no further! Kae is a Coral Gables gem from start to finish. The sushi was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every roll felt like a perfect balance of ingredients, and the quality of the fish was second to none. There is outdoor seating, and the indoor seating is cozy, but still large enough for large groups. We met the owners Katy & Chef Landa- who welcomed us like family! Highly recommend if you’re looking for fusion sushi, and wonderful hospitality.

KAE was amazing! Randomly picked this spot! Absolutely the best sushi I've had. To start, my friend and I had 10/10 customer service the entire time. We ordered the Giralda roll, Ceviche bite roll, and the salmon sensation (pictured in this review). The salmon sensation was one of the best rolls I've ever had. I can't even describe the taste or what it's made from, but wow it was incredible. The Giralda was also my favorite although more traditional, it was excellent. We ended up ordering a second round of both of those two rolls. Speaking with the owner, I requested them not to ever take either of the menu, as I would return for them. During this conversation, I was excited to hear they opened a location in Homestead, Florida SAKI THAI AND SUSHI BY KAE, a much needed quality sushi restaurant down south. As you can see, highly recommend!

My favorite food is sushi, and out of all the restaurants I’ve tried in Miami, this one is hands-down my absolute favorite. They offer an incredible variety of rolls to choose from, and if you’re unsure what to order, you can even ask the chef to create a custom roll with your favorite ingredients! I highly recommend this spot if you’re craving seafood. They also have ramen on the menu, which my dad tried and absolutely loved (and he is very picky with food). Since discovering this gem, I haven’t been to another sushi restaurant in Miami—it’s truly the best!

We have already visited the place several times and always very pleased. All the dishes we have ordered always come with a lot of flavor. The customer service is good. If you want to eat good sushi I recommend it 🍱

What an amazing experience we had while visiting Kae in coral gables. The service truly raises the bar for hospitality. We arrived 15 minutes before closing and feared being denied a table but instead the staff made us feel extremely welcomed and never rushed. The food was excellent and a unique combination of flavors that are truly spectacular. I highly recommend the toro and caviar roll along with the salmon sensation. The ceviche was also excellent. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend this restaurant for an intimate evening with delicious and unique sushi dishes.

Today I had the pleasure of having lunch at KAE to celebrate my birthday. My first time visiting after checking out Instagram which had a great following and decided this would be the perfect spot. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the chefs wife Katy with the most warm welcome. She recommended a few appetizers, the edamame spring rolls and these crispy wonton tacos. Delicious options but those tacos just blew me away. So fresh and crisp! As for our main dishes, I am definitely a fan of shareable dishes, so we asked her and the chef to just surprise us and curate chefs choice on our meal. When I tell you that this is now my new favorite sushi fusion spot, I am not even exaggerating! Honestly, each roll was better than the next. Fresh ingredients, the most pleasant service and atmosphere. That smoke show roll you see there is a definite must have!!! Thank you for the excellent experience and I’m looking forward to going back for more!
